Uno sat alone in a cave staring at an old world machine. It was large and black with a glass screen. "The ancients had such strange machines," he played with the tip of his beard "I wonder where they've gone," he thought as he looked over the machine. While inspiring he found an inscription that read " third eye predictitions". He kept looking until he felt a small button, he pushed it and the screen flickered. He leaped backwards, surprised the machine still worked. He looked at it cautiously not knowing what would happen. Words appeared on the screen "insert information," a panel opened on the device and an old keyboard came out of it. "What a curious machine this is?" Uno thought to himself. He typed in his name and a few other things and the screen went black. "Have I broken it?," he got close and the screen filled with color. Pictures played on the screen showing odd people he had never met, fighting an army he had never seen, with a strange creature leading it. He looked on in amazement as the machine showed him all of these events. Suddenly, the screen went black. He looked at the screen curiously, with hope that more would appear. After a few seconds, a map appeared on the screen. It pointed out different parts of the wasteland using various symbols as markers. The symbols were a knife, a flame, a vial of orange liquid, and a skull & crossbones. They were all interconnected in the center of the map, with a red line leading northward to a mysterious symbol. He stared blankly at the screen, not comprehending what the significance of the symbols were. Then, as suddenly as it had appeared, it disappeared again. The platform of the monitor begins to buzz and whir as a copy of the map slides out, resembling an old scroll. The machine makes its few puffs and He carefully picked it up and put it in his beard "This seems important I must follow it and keep it safe," he picked up his walking stick, a large blackwood staff and made his way out of the cave and into the desert deadlands.
