A lethal virus spread through a single bite revealed a deadly era of war against the feral and vicious infected beings versus the humans. The dead rising sparks an idea for an experimental project in Arkham Laboratories, individuals containing the most rare AB and B negative blood type could be devised into weapons to combat against the infected. Modern day experimented lab rat heroes called the Alleviates were the solution to end the war but the goal to create super hero like abilities in a human drives the Laboratories death rate to sky rocket. Thus causing a closure in its experiment and to terminate all participants involved in the project. Trouble arises when the Lancaster's escape the lab before Arkham could trigger a death sentence to all initiates involved. The Lancaster's and many other initiates escape forever tainted as the consequence of Arkham's flawed failure of a project.
