(Misty's POV)
"Come on! Pack your bags, you're going to be late!" Daisy yelled. I just smiled at her.
"Why am I going to summer camp again?" I asked and rolled my eyes.
"To meet new people." Violet said, and she immediately smirked after she said that. "Maybe you'll even meet some cute boys." She winked at me and I glared in response.
I sighed. Well they couldn't be any worse then the boys at school.
Honk, honk!
Well, there was the bus. I turned around one last time. "Are you guys sure you can handle it? You know, without me helping." Daisy sighed loudly.
"We can handle it." Daisy said quickly, trying to get me out of here.
"Are you sure?" I asked, not convinced. "I can stay. Make sure you do your chores in time, and that the gym keeps accepting gym battles." Violet and Lily shared an understanding look.
"Just go." Lily said and she pushed me forward.
I almost fell, but regained my balance. 'Time to shine' I thought by myself.
I climbed on board of the bus and looked around. It was pretty empty, but this was one of the first stops before we would go to Camp Silent Bay. In the bus there were only a raven haired boy wearing a hat with the camp logo on it, a honey blond girl with her long hair in a ponytail, a guy with brown spiky hair and a look on his face that made me want to slap him, a blond boy that couldn't stop running around and a girl with dark brown hair that she wore partly before her face. She sat in the corner on her own, so I took place next to her.
"Mind if I sit here?" I asked with a smile.
The girl smiled back. "Not at all." she said sweetly.
(Serena's POV)
We were on our way to summer camp. This would be it, I could feel it in the air. This summer something special was going to happen. The bus stopped again, this time in front of a gym. "Cerulean City!" the driver yelled. Ash and Gary were in an argument of what was more important when you train your Pokémon, a strong bond or really hard work. I tried to enter the conversation, but Gary shut me down.
"Please Serena, you don't know what your talking about." I secretly hoped that Ash would disagree with him, but he didn't.
I leaned back in my seat when this red headed girl came in. She wore the camp shirt, and her aquamarine eyes went trough the bus.
She was really pretty. I immediately looked at Ash. He looked at her a little too long. I tapped his shoulder and started about the gym outside.
The girl sat down next to the quiet girl in the back. I sighed in relief. That could have gone a lot worse. It didn't matter who this girl was, she wasn't going to stand between me and Ash. Not now that I was so close to finally telling him how I felt about him.
She stood up again to introduce herself to us.
"Hello, I'm Misty Waterflower and who are you all." she said with a friendly smile.
"Ketchum, Ash." Ash said a little too fast. The quiet girl chuckled a bit.
"I'm Kathryn, nice to meet you." When we all introduced ourselves to Misty she went back to her seat.
The entire ride to Hoenn I watched the girl closely. Sorry Misty Waterflower, but you wil not beat me. Not in this lifetime.
(May's POV)
I was waiting for the bus to arrive and was trying to control my nerves. This would be the place I would spend my whole summer. I really hoped it would be fun. I once again looked at my letter, it said the bus would be here. I really hoped I didn't come to the wrong place.
