Natalia.
It didn't take me long to find a witch so I could locate my estranged brother and sister. My father and I were in good standings with other species so favors weren't hard to ask for. She made me promise we wouldn't unleash hell on the world or there would be consenquences but could she blame me?
They murdered my father.
The blood on the map trinkled down to two completely different spots in the world and there was no way I could get to them without being caught and killed myself. "Can I just get the message sent to them instead?" I asked her and she looked at me reluctantly before nodding. I held out my hand so she could channel me for my power and she took my hand as the flames in all the candles around the room got higher and there was a slight breeze in the room. "Write the message on this paper." She said handing me paper and ink.
How do you tell your two older siblings that their dad was brutally murdered and that we're now orphans.. that we have to be on the run again?
The time has come for Dad and now it's time to go, together. Sierra Mountains. was all I wrote on the paper before giving it to her and she crumpled it in her hand and started to whisper in Latin before holding the paper over the flames in her hand. As the paper turned to ash she blew it on the map and the candles out at the same time.
"You have to go now and they'll receive their messages almost immediately." She said to me before cleaning up all her remainings from the spell. She cleaned in such a hurry. If anyone found out she was helping a hybrid she would be tortured into giving information and killed. "Thank you, Sage. For all your help over the years, you and your mother have been more helpful to my family then you'll ever know." I said to her and she ran over to me and hugged me. Over the years me and Sage pretty much grew up together, we figured out our powers together. She became pretty closed off after her mother died but she never stopped helping me and my father whenever we needed it.
A true friend.
I gave her one last look over before exiting her small house. The weather was thick and humid as I stepped out. Running all the way to the Sierra Mountains would take too long and the switching between packs would definitely get me caught. I had to do things the mundane way and get on a plane. I didn't leave without saying goodbye to my beloved Father. The man who has never left my side, the only man I've ever loved besides my brother. No matter what species he was he did not deserve to go like this. I buried him at our home. A beautiful near the border of Romania and Bulgaria, both of my parents home countries. Although it was burned down over fifty years ago, the underground still remained and that's where lay right next to my beautiful mother.
She had a hex put on her for creating an unbalance with magic. She died in all of our arms that day and my siblings haven't trusted the witches since then.
I missed them and I needed them more than anything right now.
The flight from Europe back to America was a good twelve hours. Getting back to American soil was bittersweet, especially since whoever was responsible for my fathers death was in the states. No European pack was big enough, stealth enough or had enough resources to kill a ancient werewolf of Royal Blood.
A King, if you will.
I made arrangements to have a meeting with the Alpha of the Sierra Mountains pack, we needed allies and a territory to stay at and the Sierra Mountain Pack was perfect. Their ex Alpha was my fathers best friend and the only person outside of his family that he ever trusted. Their new Alpha was his son and he's kept the pack on their toes. They were great fighters and hunters.
