*our story starts with a beautiful young maiden walking through a meadow being sad and lonely her name is Selene*
Selene is walking around a meadow and is very lonely picking flowers and crying. The reason she is crying is because her father ,king of the fairy kingdom, has just died and she is gathering flowers for his burial. Selene is still crying when she is spotted by a god named Ares. Ares is taken a back when he sees this beautiful maiden and takes a gasp. Selene is unaware of the gasp and keeps picking flowers. Ares walks over to Selene and leans up against a tree cracking it a little. Selene is still oblivious to this as she continues to weep over her fathers death. Ares, who is now a little sad for the maiden and seeks pity on her, clears his throat. Selene looks up and drops all the flowers that she was holding in her hands, she gasps a little as she is startled, she has her hand on her chest and still tears rolling down her eyes.
