FairyTail (Lucy's P.O.V.)

The adrenaline of excitement pumps through my veins as we walk through city. My eyes, lit up with joy and wonder. I had just met a FairyTail wizard, Natsu, who plans on taking me to his guild. I have always wanted to join FairyTail, and here's my lucky day! We arrive at the doors, my heart pumping hard. We walk in...and immediately Natsu tackles another member. I sigh, but my adrenaline still pumps hard. I look around and see all sorts of cool people. Then I see him. My heart pounds, no longer from the excitement. A salty brown haired, brown eyed, glasses wearing, slick dressed man sits on a bench. I then shake my head and snap back to reality. I then realize he has two girls around his arms. Player...he's a damn player. I can't have someone like that as a potential love interest...there is plenty of fish in the sea. I then keep looking around and that's when I notice a girl with white hair, and a rasberry coloured dress.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Hello." She smiles.
That's when I register the smile and face. This is Mirajane! THE Mirajane!
"Mirajane, it's an honor to meet you."
"I'm not that important." She giggles.
"I'm Lucy." I shake her hand.
"Welcome to the guild. You joining?"
"Can I?" My eyes light up.
"Mhm. Where would you like your mark?" She asks, pulling out a stamp.
"Right here."
I point to ny hand and she nods. She stamps the FairyTail guild mark on my hand in pink. I'M A FAIRYTAIL WIZARD!!! I run over to Natsu and wave my hand in the air.
"Look! Mira just put the offical mark on my hand!"
"Cool, welcome to the guild Luie."
"It's Lucy!" I snap.
He waves his hand off and walks away. I huffy cross my arms and watch him walk away. I then turn to walk and I run right into a beautiful blue haired girl.
"I'm so sorry!" I quickly say, grabbing her before she falls.
"It's fine..I haven't seen you around here before? Have I?"
"No. I just joined. My name is Lucy."
"I'm Levy. Nice to meet you. We should hang out sometime." She smiles.
"Sounds great Lev."
"Lev? I like it Lu."
We laugh together and then she heads off to the towns library. The racket of the guild gets louder as a fight breaks out thanks to Natsu and navy haired boy who couldn't seem to keep his clothes on. That's when there is two loud booms as if a gaint was coming. Everyone freezes in their tracks as this sudden shadow of a gaint covers the guild. Fear takes over as I turn around to face the shadow creature. His skin then starts to shift and he starts to...shrink? I watch as he shrinks down, down, down. My face drops but still full of fear, as an old man appears in it's place.
"Hello there." He says.
"Huh?" I say confused.
"You must be the new member."
"Indeed she is Master." Mira says.
"M-Master?"
THAT'S THE GUILD MASTER???
"Welcome to the guild. Sorry about the mess..."
He then gets a serious look on his face. He jumps up to the high balcony and looks down at us. He holds up a bunch on papers.
"The council is tearing into us. We caused even more destruction! Gray, the little town south of here. Laxus, the town of Hargiona. And Natsu...the entire harbor of Hargeon, and 4 towns along the way!"
Wow...Natsu did all that damage...HE WAS WHO I KEPT READING ABOUT?!
"To make matters worse the council said one more mess up...and we're through." He pauses, "You know what I say to the council? SCREW EM'! How can we learn and grow if we don't break a few rules? Forget the council. That's what makes us...NUMBER 1!!"
Suddenly the whole guild is arroused and full of life! I'm so happy to finally be apart of it! I smile and cheer right along with them. After awhile once everyone settles down I realize the sun is slowly starting to set. Guess I better go find an apartment. I start to head out the guild when I'm stopped by the sudden words of, "Lu! Wait up!" I turn and see Levy running towards me. Once she reaches me, she catches her breath and then looks at me.
"Hey Lev..you okay?"
"Just fine. So, do you have a place to stay?"
"I was just about to go see if I could find a place."
"I knew it! Well I was talking around and there's an apartment for rent just down the road. Got any money?"
"Yeah, just enough for an apartment. Guess I'll have to start working a job."
"You already do. FairyTail. Here, tomorrow we'll look at the request board together. How's that?"
"Sounds great."
Suddenly we hear Natsu screaming off to the side and we turn and look. A little kid pushes past us and keeps running.
"What's going on?" I ask quietly.
"I'm going after him!" Natsu yells.
Natsu then walks out the guild, pushing past us.
"Wow...wha..Hey! Don't touch those!" Levy says running after someone.
I walk up to Mira at the bar.
"What was that about?" I ask.
"Natsu being Natsu...that little kid who ran out...that's Romeo. His dad is Macow and he hasn't returned from the mountains yet and Master wouldn't send anyone...guess Natsu sees himself in Romeo."
"What do you mean?"
"You see, when Natsu was a kid he was abandonded in the forest. But Igneel found him."
"Igneel...I've heard him mention that name before. The dragon?"
"Yes. Igneel taught him how to write, read, taught him history, everything. Even magic. That's where Natsu gets his power. Igneel was like a father to him....then suddenly he disappeared...leaving Natsu alone again. He wonder forever until he eventually stumbled upon here. He swore to never stop looking until he found him..."
"That's sweet..." I pause, "I'm going to go help him."
"Be careful out there Lucy."
"I will be."
I nod slightly and run out the guild, trying to catch up with Natsu. I catch up right outside the carriage transportation place.
"Natsu!" I say breathlessly.
"Lucy, what are you doing here?"
"I wanted to come with, is there a problem with that?"
"No, come on. We gotta take a carriage cause trains don't go that far."
"Yes sir." I smile.
We get a carriage and then hop in the back as the driver starts to take off. Natsu is collected at first, then his motion sickness hits and he's laying on the bench sick as a dog.
"Poor thing, just another reason to feel bad for you." I say quickly.
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing."
After awhile I could tell we had started up the mountain. I started getting colder the more the carriage went on. How was Natsu not freezing?! He's wearing less clothes than me! The carriage comes to a sudden stop.
"This is as far as I can take you." The guy says.
"This will do." Natsu says, suddenly fine.
We get out the carriage and start walking. The more we walk the more I freeze.
"Natsu, give me the blanket." I say.
"You should've worn better clothes."
"Yeah Lucy." Happy chimes in.
Kinda forgot he was there...
"Can it cat." I snap.
We walk a little more up the mountain.
"Okay I can't do this!"
"Then go back to the guild." Natsu says annoyed.
"No! I'm staying if you are...but I'm at least going to keep warm!"
I pull out one of my silver keys.
"Ooo, pretty keys." Happy says staring.
"Paws off. Now, Open! Gate of the Clock Constalation! Horalogeum!"
Suddenly a big clock celestial spirit comes from a blue mist. I snatch the blanket off of Natsu's back and I hop into the clock.
"You didn't have to come." Natsu tells me.
"I know but I wanted to, she says frustratingly." Says the clock.
"It talks!" Happy yells.
"Shut up, she yells angerly."
We walk a little farther when suddenly a gaint yetti monkey thing hops down in front of us.
"Maybe he'll tell us where Macow is!"
Natsu goes to confront it.
"Pretty woman." It says.
It rushes towards us, knocking natsu into a pile of snow. He rushes towards me. I scream fearfully in the clock. He grabs the clock and runs off with me.
"Natsu help, she yells fearfully."
"Hang on Lucy, I'm coming!!"
He goes into some ice cave, putting me down. He stares hard at me through the glass. Then, what I dreaded most, happened.
"Times up!" Horalogeum says, disappearing.
"No wait, come back!"
Natsu then comes in yelling like a maniac.
"WHERE'S MACOW!!"
The yetti monkey then motions his finger at Natsu.
"Hey, finally some sense."
The monkey then shows him to a window which he then throws Natsu out. So much for my hero! I then scaredly stand up and look him in the eyes.
"Here we go.." I grab a gold key, "Open! Gate of the Golden Bull! Taurus!"
Taurus appears out of a golden light.
"Moooo! Hello miss luuuucy." He says.
"Taurus stop that monkey thing!"
"Might I say, you are looking loooovely."
"That's right...you're a perv too."
"HANDS OFF MY WOMAN!" The monkey yells.
"YOU'RE woman, I think you are mistaken. This is my woooman."
Natsu then comes flying in the window, happy on his back, holding him up and he strikes Taurus, KNOCKING HIM OUT!
"Since when we're there two?"
"ONE WAS MY CELESTIAL SPIRIT MORON!"
I run over to Taurus, trying to wake him up. Natsu and the monkey have an all out fight, then I see the monkey get ahold of Taurus axe.
"Taurus, if you leave your axe goes with you! Close the gate! CLOSE IT!"
I watch fearfully as the monkey keeps swinging and almost hitting Natsu. That's when it gets a clear shot and swings. To my surprise, NATSU CAUGHT THE AXE! WHAT THE? NOW HE'S MELTING IT! HOW?! I watch as the embers of the axe, as it melts, fall into his mouth.
"I'm all fired up now!"
Natsu then gets the strength advantage and throws the axe off of him.
"Fire dragon, ROAR!"
A huge roar of flames blasts at the mokey, that's when I remember something.
"Isn't he supposed to tell you where your friend is?" I remind him.
"Oh, right. It's just a few burn marks."
Taurus then finally disappears along with the smoke from the blast to reveal, no longer a monkey, but Macow! Our eyes widen in surprise. Natsu then snatches the blanket from me and lays Macow on it. After a few minutes of patching up and waiting, he finally wakes up.
"Natsu?" He pauses, "I failed.." Macow says.
"Don't talk. You'll need your strength to walk back."
I watch and see this unbreakable bond of friendship and love form between them as they prepare for the trip back. We went back down the moutain, stagger walking for Macow. Eventually we reach a small town and get a carriage. We head back to Magnolia. We walk through the streets, on our way to FairyTail. I see Romeo crying on the stairs.
"It's Romeo." I whisper.
"Go on Macow, he's missed you." Natsu whispers.
Macow nods and pushes off of us.
"Romeo!" Macow shouts.
He wipes his eyes and looks up. With what looks to be sudden joy, Romeo jolts up and runs into Macow.
"My boy...I'm sorry."
"I don't care about the kids anymore! Don't EVER do that again!"
"Hey, hey, you don't have to worry about them anymore. All you have to do is look em' in the eye and say, 'yeah, well have your dads defeated 99 monsters before? Cause mine has'."
Romeo hugs Macow with joyous love. I smile, as Natsu and I keep walking.
"Thank you Natsu and Lucy!"
I smile with joy and wave to him. Today was a great day. I then notice that apartment Levy was talking about earlier.
"I'll see you tomorrow Natsu."
"Got a place already?"
"Mhm."
"Alright, see ya Lucy."
I wave goodbye and head in the complex. I walk up to the front desk lady.
"I'm here for the apartment?" I ask.
"Got up front pay?"
"Here's all I got."
"It's yours. Rent is due by the end of the week."
"Yes ma'am."
She throws the keys at me and I head upstairs to my new apartment. I lock the door after entering and sit against the door. I sigh and close my eyes, only meaning to rest them. But before I knew it, I was out like a light.
