She sat down excepting someone to say hi, but they all just left. She sat there alone watching them walk away. The smile she once held now fading from her face, the memories it held fading from her mind. She tried not to cry even as tears ran down her face, she wanted to scream. All her light had just walked away.
People watched her with a laugh a smirk. "Oh wow, what a loser" They'd scoffed walking by as she let out more sobs. Everyone seemed so mean, so hateful.
She walked the halls everyday seeing all her friends laugh with new people, new groups. People that weren't like her. She just pushed it out and closed her eyes, and held every thought in her head. What should she do? What should she say? If anything at all.what was right, what was wrong?!
She sits in the bathroom tears in her eyes. What if I just disappeared? Would they see... or notice at all... or would they be fine. She wiped her eyes hearing the bell, unlocked the stall and walked out. The girls laughed " Freak!" One shouts, before they all cry out. The girl laid on the floor, as she ran out. She hated those girls and people like them! But what happened she'd probably never know.
She made it to class, but no one cared. She sat in the back, her thoughts over whelming. She pulled out a notebook and started to write, her thoughts of disappearing and apologizes to everyone. Someone tapped her shoulder, and asked to sit. They set down their books and smiled wide.
She closed her notebook and looked up confused. What did they asked? What did I do? They asked again, and she nodded her head. They sat and smiled, starting a small conversation. They talked, and her pain went away.
Days passed, and the two became friends. Even if one got pulled away, they both always went back to each other. Her pain had faded with every smile, every laugh. The memories that had once disappeared seemed to come back but not with her old friends, her smile slowly came back replacing the frown.
The depressed girl... wasn't depressed anymore.
