Chapter One: MADMAX and DEEDEE

-Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. October 28, 1984-

Cars drove down the street but one car was parked directly in front of a building. All of a sudden an alarm went off and the door busted open, a group of people with masks on getting in the van and quickly driving away from police. They take off their masks and sat in the van with a sigh. "Get 'em off of us, Mick!" a guy spoke, "I'm working on it!" Mick replied. 

"The Alley. To your right." a girl in the passenger seat spoke, "Okay." Mick said and turned. The youngest girl holding to the bar above the door for safety. She still had her mask on, a gold and black masquerade mask covered most of her face. She took it off her hair that covered her left eye showed a clear-ish swap colored eye and let the mask rest on her neck. They zoomed past cars dangerously. Now going down an empty alley. "Okay, okay." they calmed down a bit until more cops came. "Do something, Kali. Do something! Or Dedra!" the man with the Mohawk said. 

Kali looked at Dedra and Dedra nodded. "Next right. There's a tunnel. Take it." Kali said to Mick. The cop followed them, determined. Until he saw the tunnel spontaneously break, pieces falling to the ground. And the police cars crashed together. Everyone laughed victoriously. Kali's nose started to bleed and Dedra handed her a tissue, their wrist's printed with numbers. Kali was number eight, and Dedra was number 12.

The night almost before Halloween, it was the night where Dustin, Mike, Lucas, and Will would be going to the arcade. Dustin was looking around, frantic. "Son of a bitch! Son of a Bitch!" he exclaimed and looked between and under couch cushions. "Another stupid penny!" Dustin said and threw it, "Dusty, watch it! You almost hit Mews." Ms. Henderson exclaimed. "Can I please check under your cushions?" Dustin asked. "Dusty." his mother replied. "Mom, please? It's an emergency!" Dustin said. Ms. Henderson groans or moans and gets up. Dustin coping his mom. Dustin looked under and found two quarters, he smiled happily. "Love you, Mom." Dustin smiled and went to his room, grabbing his walkie-talkie. 

"Lucas, you copy? I've got four quarters. What's your haul?" Dustin asked into the electronic. "Take your puny haul and multiply it by five." Lucas replied. "How?" Dustin asked. "While you were scrounging around like a homeless bum, I mowed Old Man Humphrey's lawn." Lucas retorted. "Old Man Humphrey's got that kinda cash?" Dustin says. "Just call Mike already." Lucas responds, "You call Mike." Dustin argued. "I have to go take a shower from doing real work, like a man. Over and out." Lucas says and puts down his walkie-talkie. Dustin sighed, "Mike, do you copy? Mike, do you copy?" he spoke. "Yeah. Yeah, I copy." Mike replied. "What the hell are you doing on this channel?" Dustin asks, "Nothing." Mike answered. 

"Well, Lucas and I have six bucks total, what's your haul?" Dustin says Mike looks around. "Shit! I don't know yet." Mike says and looks up. "What do you mean you don't know yet?" Mike heard Dustin, "Hold on. Call Will." Mike says looking directly at (Y/n)'s piggy bank that says, 'Arcade Money'. "Well, it is for the arcade." Mike says and dumps it out taking all the quarters which is six dollars total. He goes out the door and gets on his bike, going away. "Asshole." Mike hears the faint voice of (Y/n) say and turns around, but nothing there. 

He lets it go and goes on his way to the arcade. Mike waited a bit for Will to arrive at the Dungeon's Lair game. And he shows up. They played for a bit until the game ended. "No! No! No! I hate this overpriced bullshit! Son of a bitch! Piece of shit!" Dustin angrily exclaims. "You're not nimble enough. But you'll get there one day. But until then, Princess Daphne is still mine." Lucas smiles. "Whatever. I still top on Centipede and Dig Dug." Dustin said. A voice interrupts, "You sure about that?" Keith, an employee there says. Dustin looks at him, "Sure about what?" Dustin asked, Keith, ate a chip from his bag and looked at him.
