~Jacks POV~
i have to admit, i was a little nervous about meeting finn.
i mean, he seems pretty cool, and if sophia trusts him then i trust him.
but...
WHAT IF ITS NOT ACTUALLY FINN?!
WHAT IF SOMEONE HACKED FINNS ACCOUNT AND THIS IS AN OLD MANS HOUSE WAITING TO MURDER ME?!?'
jesus jack, calm down
i'm letting my anxiety get the best of me again.

i knock. twice
i check my phone

finn🙃: gtg someone's at the door
Jackie chan💍: that's me you dickwheat
Jer bear💋: how did u get there before me?? i left school first
Jackie chan💍: i live close so i know a shortcut

i hear the door being unlocked
i put my phone in my pocket and chew my fingernails. it's a nervous habit

the door opens.
right before me is a boy with dark, curly hair. he's actually pretty hot.

"hi"
i look down, then back up at him. he displays a soft smile on his face.
"uh- hi, i'm looking for finn, is he here?"
his smile grows bigger
"that's me. jack?"
it's my turn to smile
"that's me"
we stand there for a moment, just looking at eachother, until he breaks the silence
"do you want to come in?"

he took me up into his room. it's really... plain.
there's barely any furniture. his walls are the standard white, his bed doesn't have any blankets on it, and the only other furniture is a small dresser near his bed.
he sits down on his bed while i look around more.
"i know, it's boring."
"oh no, no it's fine-uh, it's cool"
he giggles
"you don't have to lie to me jack. i know it sucks"
i smile and join him on the bed. i put out my hand to shake
"it's good to finally meet you, finn"
he takes my hand and shakes it firmly. his palms are sweaty.
"you too, jack"
our hands stay intertwined a moment too long.
DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG
he jumps
DING DONG
"STOP HAVING SEX AND OPEN UP"
i roll my eyes.
"jeremy"
i head downstairs as he follows
i open the front door and see jeremy and sophia standing there
"CHILDREN IT TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH" jeremy screams
finn puts his head in his hands
"I KNEW IT. THEY WERE CANOODLING"
sophia screams after
"god sophia. just shut the fuck up and lets hang out"
i step to the side and they walk in, high fiving and whispering to eachother.
finn walks into his living room and turns on the tv
"Netflix, anyone?"
i run over and body slam on the sofa, sophia runs over as well and tackles me,laying on top of me.
"GROSS, COOTIES!"
i push her off the couch and she pretends to cry
jeremy sits down on the chair and rolls his eyes
"gosh, so immature"
soph stands up and slaps jeremy's knee
"OW! you're gonna regret that!"
sophia gets up and runs away from him, jeremy on her tail. i sit up and pat the sofa, inviting finn to sit down.
he sits beside me and turns on the tv, scrolling through Netflix. he finally finds a show and starts episode one.
"this is my favorite show!"
he says, looking really excited
"my little pony?"
he realizes how childish he sounds and blushes. i burst out laughing
sophia and jeremy run in, sitting down beside finn as the my little pony theme song plays.
"my little pony?!" they say in unison.
we all start laughing and settling into the couch, actually enjoying the show.
finn sings along to the theme song while i look over at him, admiring how adorable he looks right now.
this is the most fun i've had in a while.
