The Mask Maker and The Singer (Uta x Reader) (On Hold)

One-Who are you?

The crowd is clapping and cheering my name, well want they call me."Sakura, Sakura!" They yell, I look around and one person in the third row caught my eye.

It was dark, but light enough to see he had sunglasses and and black hair that was buzzed on one side, but that was all I could see. It seemed like he was wearing all black.

I snapped out of it and Thanked my fans."Thank you, thank you. Don't forget to donate to the Save The Children charity event, the kids and I would be so grateful. I'll see you at my next concert in three weeks, thank you and good night!"

"Alright!You did a really great job out there Sakura!" My friend Touka. She's the only person who actually knows my true identity.

"Are you sure you don't want to travel?" Touka asked.

"I'm sure...I'm not ready to travel yet. Why do you keep asking me that question, don't you like me?"

"NO NO, it's just...n-nevermind. You almost ready to go?"

"Yeah, just let me put on my shoes and we could go."

Touka always walks with me back home it's like she's the big sister I never had, but sometimes she can get to protective.

Bzz-bzz. Suddenly a I heard a buzz, it was coming from outside the door to my dressing room. I step out side to find Touka on the phone with a worried look on her face, I step closer.

"Yeah...yeah...K I'm on my way." Touka said to the other person on the phone."Touka...is every thing OK?" I ask worried.

"Oh,yeah um...I have to go back to Anteiku. Something happened and I need to be there to help. Sorry I can't walk you home tonight."

"No, it's OK I can walk home by my self."

"Are you sure, I don't want you to get hurt?"

"I'm sure don't worry. I know the way, and I'll call you or the police as soon as something looks suspicious."

"OK...just make sure you're safe alright, promise?"

"Alright...I promise."

After me and Touka made the deal we both walked out of the building made sure that our plan's for tomorrow where set, and parted.

As I was walking I looked at my phone to see what time it is, but then I noticed that there was no signal. I shrug it off I make a left which lead me to an alleyway."Is this the right way?" I wonder to my self. I turn around to find two men behind me, I freeze just steering at them.

"Well, well what do we have here?"

"A girl...a human girl." The two men say.

"What do they mean by human are they...no they can't be."I thought to my self. I try to move back and run away, but another man was behind me. I back away slowly, ending up in the middle of the three of them.

" Hey! Where do you think you're going?" The man said to me,bringing out his kagune. My eyes widen, I turn around to find that the other men had kagune's too. I knew it they where ghouls.

I turned to my left and ran, the men followed after me. It wasn't until I tripped that I noticed that I was at a dead end. I looked at my knee and saw that it was cut pretty badly. The men came to a stop, they started laughing in an evil way which sent shivers down my spine.

"Haha...hey why don't we have a little fun with her before we eat her?" One of the men requested, both the men nod in agreement. They start to move closer to me. My heart starts racing, tears start forming in my eyes. Suddenly a deep calming voice comes out of nowhere, it was a male voice.

"Hey leave her alone!"

"Get out of here she's ours." One of the men said, I flinch.

"I'm warning you, leave her!" The voice said again, I couldn't see him over the men. After the men refused again, one of them go stabbed in the head. I look behind me not wanting to see what happened then I saw a big  box I could hide behind.

I crawl behind the box while the two ghouls and the mysterious man fight. When it went silent I assumed the fight was over so I look over the box and see no one. I turn to my right and see a man. His sudden apprentice made me jump back against a wall. He didn't look like one of the men who chased me.

I was shaking and I knew he could tell. He kneeled down to my level and touch my cheek,his hand was so cold.

"Shuu...everything is going to be ok Sakura I won't hurt you." He said how does he know that I'm Sakura? As I pay more attention to him, he seemed like he was the man from my concert that I saw...but his eyes where red and black, is that why he had his glasses on? He's a ghoul. He looks down at my knee.

"Can you walk?" He asked. I shake my head.

"Does it hurt when you try?" He asked looking in my eyes, I nod again. I don't want to say anything to him since he did just take down three ghouls.

"My shop's not to far from here, I could tend to your wounds, do you...want to go?" He asked, his voice kinda got quite at the end but I could still hear him. Knowing that he just saved me from being eaten, I feel like I could trust him,I nod(again). He looks at me from head to toe, then picks me up.

Once we get to his shop, it looked like a mask shop, they all looked really creepy but cool at the same time. He walked into a room, lays me down on the bed and trends to my wound.

"So...um...i-it's kinda dark and you can't walk yet so...um...do you what to stay here? But just until your leg gets better." He asked.

"Sure." I replied, he smiled at me and said.

"You can sleep in here tonight."

"T-thank you."

"I'll check on you in a bit, good night."

"Wait...what's your name?" The man stopped in the door way.

"Uta...my name is Uta."

"Uta...thank you for saving my life."

"Y-you're welcome." Uta said closing the door behind him. Uta seems like nice guy, but there's no doubt about it he's a ghoul, I have to keep my  guards up. As I think about how long I'll be here I doze off to sleep hoping it was all just a dream. But it wasn't.
