"He's beautiful." "Don't speak now, there's one more!" Cries fill the room. "They're twins!" Marcus calls. The doctor rushes the boy and the girl out, and May quickly falls asleep. All Marcus wanted to do was hold his children in his arms. He was very happy. None of his family showed up. Why would they? His father disappeared, his mother died. His sibling loath him. He wouldn't let that dampen his mood. He just wanted his children.

Their first birthday was the best, but yet again it was just the four. "Happy birthday!" May sings setting down the cake in front of the twins. "They're beautiful." Marcus smiles rubbing his hand through Renée's black hair. "I promise...I'm going to be a great dad." He whispers softly kissing her head.

"I don't enjoy being lied to Marcus, if you have children why didn't you tell your family?" Kate cries angrily. "I didn't want them taken from me," he yells desperately. "I was a death eater! I'm not fit to be a father." He cries. "I promise, that will not happen. Keeping them away from their family is making them blind. They need to know about your past and your family." Kate states sternly. "I know," Marcus sniffs. "I know...just not yet.." He whispers looking into the nursery where his two kids played. "You're a great father Marcus." Kate whisper. She hugs him tightly. "I love you big bro, you're strong courageous. You're going to take care of these children, and they will not perish." Marcus smiles. "Is that a promise?" Kate nods. "Yes."

"Why are we going to put them into muggle school?" Marcus asks. "Well, me being a muggle born I went to muggle school until I got my letter. They'll make friends there."Marcus shakes his head no. "It can't happen, they'll be friends with muggles. They need to stay around wizards." May gasps and grabs Marcus by the ear. "And what's wrong with them being friends with muggles?" She asks hurt. "Nothing dear...But what will we tell the school when they turn eleven?" May sighs and looks off into the distance. "That we put them into private school." Marcus sighs. "Fine." He mutters defeated.
