There was a child, new as dawn, born from lust, beer, and hate
He arrived unto this world: dumb, weak, and underweight
The world stood against him, his enemy was fate
He was diseased, he was doomed, alone with no teammate
There was a child in the hospital bed, poisoned flesh apon white sheets
As his head and body went sour
his fathers love remained sweet
There was a young man raised in a broken home, mind torn from aspergers syndrome
Told: "When you converse with other children-
Remember: stay monochrome!"
There was a young man, light in his life leaving
his head grew darker, his heart now bleeding
Mourn the death of childhood, an endless state of grieving
Always tried his best to learn, always underachieving
The cycle of pain then took an about turn
"To the madhouse you go!"
His smile soon returned
With other "freaks" he thrived, pain was overturned
The friends he made, saw fit his chains to burn
No pain anymore, he was free to learn
And then he met her, and she stole away the dark
He saw her pure beauty, "must be an angels mark!"
She truly bought back light, like a new day to start
A new beat in life, emanating from two hearts
After time passed, it all started to capsize
He put everything in her, and that was most unwise
She faded away, and took him by surprise
Gone was the light.
He lost his sunrise
