Peter has a secret liking for vests. He feels wearing them makes him smarter. James thinks vests are for sissies, and that no man in his right mind would wear one. Sirius believes out of all the Marauders only Remus would wear a vest. Remus actually hates vest because they remind him of his grandfather, who blamed Remus’s father for his grandson becoming a monster.
