There she lay
crumpled
in a heap
Sobbing in the corner.
Motionless, she cries.
Pain-filled screams
flooding
from her mouth
notifying the world of her
pain.
Her cries
echo
against the walls
and she realises
she is alone,
no one cares.
Again she
cries out
desperate
for an answer.
Still she hears
nothing.
Her cries simply
rebound and
echo once more.
To the ground
she falls, her
tears of
betrayal
falling fast,
smile
disappearing
as she
falls
into an
endless darkness.
