Gray X Reader (The Puppet Maker)

Chapter 8: Puppet Show

When Lucy saw a glimpse of you, she ran towards you. She was wearing the dress she bought from your shop.

"Good luck to your performance" She said and went towards Natsu.

You went to the side of the stage and saw Gray. You waved your hand and Gray looked at you.

"Don't forget about your promise" Gray said and smiled at you.

You are a bit shock when you saw Gray smiled at you. He was always grumpy when he's with you. You smiled back at him "It's rare to see you smile" you said.

"Then I won't smile" he said with a straight one.

"You're handsome when you smile" you said to him with a big smile on your face.

He averted his gaze to you when he heard you said those words.

You just laugh to his reaction (you don't know why he did that and just laughed to make fun of him)

When you are already at the stage, you took a deep breath and looked at the audience. You smiled at them.

"H-hello" You are a bit nervous.

"I thanked the Fairy Tail for giving me chance to perform in front of you" you are starting to thank the Fairy tail guild when you saw a group of 4 people going inside the guild.

The guy whose face was covered, he was big and wearing a black outfit. He was the one who caught your eyes even though he had 3 other people with him. He was also sticking his tongue out so that the Fairy Tail mark would be visible.

Without hesitating you called him. "Hey!" you waved your hands so that he would notice you.

All of the audience looked at him.

"They are back" Natsu said as he looked at Laxus with his group.

"I didn't expect there would have a big event like this" Laxus said as he looked at you.

When he looked at you, his eyes send shiver on your body. You started to become more nervous than you used before.

"Relax (y/n)" you whispered and took a deep breath.

After taking a deep breath, you started to narrate.

"There was a girl from long ago who lived a fulfilling life. She spend her life being a positive person as she could be." They all looked at you.

"She was happy with her parents when one night...." Katherine was the one who's acting as the protagonist of the story while you are controlling the other puppets.

"A group of bandits kidnapped her" You controlled a group of 5 bandits. 

You started to sweat cause you're using too much of your magic.

The bandits you're controlling kidnapped Katherine.

"No one knows where would the bandits bring the little girl" The scenario started to change and became a forest.

"When the bandits realized that they went to an unfamiliar place, they stopped and they started to tie the little girl with a rope so that she wouldn't escape"

You made one of the bandits tie Katherine. You are breathing heavily right now but you stayed strong for the show. 

'You're such a weak person (y/n)'  You thought.

"Let me go" Katherine while trying to escape.

"What are we gonna do now" You tried to make the puppet talk. It was a bit hard but you manage to make him talk even if it was just a short while.
