As she was prowling through the deep, dark woods she'd only ever observed from the outside, she got chills.
A sudden crack behind her, and the touch of an icy hand made her jump.
It was Cecile, and she was relieved to see a familiar face, yet confused as to what she was doing in the woods and how she'd found her.
Cecile lifted her index finger up and pressed it against her mouth, then pointed at a dim light breaking through the leaves.
Fire.
Suddenly, loud chanting.
She had found the cult that killed her mother and her sister. She was sure to seek revenge.
When she was starting to slowly walk closer to the chanting and the light, twinkling of the leaves, Cecile suddenly grabbed ahold of her hand.
She turned around hasty, shaking her head, looking straight at Cecile's face that was illuminated by the fires shine.
Pitch Black Eyes.
She gasped, knowing her fate.
She was screaming, trying to break free from Cecile's hold.
The chanting got louder as Cecile dragged her out of the bushes by her hand.
As she was being pulled through the leaves, that had changed color from fall, she looked up at the sky.
Blood Moon.
She started to whimper as tears were rolling down her face.
Cecile pulled her in the middle of the about a dozen chanting people, all dressed in dark red robes, hoods over their heads and creepy masks to cover their faces.
She was the third sacrifice.
Cecile stepped back, hypnotized as the cloaked people stepped closer.
The chanting started to sound humming in her ears.
She was screaming as loud as she could, when she suddenly lost her voice.
She held her ears shut as the buzzing of the chanting now felt like needles in her ears.
Then abruptly the chanting stopped, as did the pain in her ears, from which blood was running down the sides of her face.
She was begging for their mercy, as the tallest of them stepped forward and drove a dagger straight through her heart.
She was panting, spitting up blood, than looked up at the person, which now took off the mask and revealed their face.
Her eyes widened in shock when she noticed her own mother, she'd thought to be dead.
"You're the last sacrifice. And now I am free of this curse...", was all she could hear before she lost consciousness and fell forward, pushing the dagger all the way through her chest, killing her instantly.
