INGREDIENTS:

Bread – 4 slices
Onion – 1 small finely chopped
Tomato - 1 small finely chopped
Capsicum – 1/2 finely chopped
Veg Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
Pepper powder – 1/4 tbsp
Tomato sauce
Butter
Grated cheese

STEPS:

STEP 1: Take chopped onion,tomato and capsicum in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp mayonnaise and pepper powder into it. Mix them well.

STEP 2: Take one slice of a bread and spread a layer of butter, tomato sauce and vegetables mixture on the bread slice evenly. Add grated cheese over it. Cover it with another bread slice.

STEP 3: Heat a pan. When the pan is medium hot , add 1/2 tbsp of butter on it.

STEP 4: Now place the sandwich on the pan with spreading the butter.Now place a flat surfaced plate on the sandwich. On top of the plate, place a weight. Toast like this for few minutes. When base becomes brown, flip it. Again add 1/2 tbsp butter, spread it and place the plate and weight on it. Again toast for few minutes on low flame till the base become golden and crisp.

STEP 5: Once sandwich becomes brown and crisp from both sides, remove them from the pan and slice the sandwich in triangles.

STEP 6: Serve them hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
