"Oh shit, run nigga run", Robert scream while running. This took me by surprise while I watched the body twitch with blood streaming out off its chest. I was completely shocked and speechless. It was like I went into a complete body shock. "Nigga, come on", Robert said again while pulling me up off the ground to flee as police sirens where sounding loudly. As I was running I felt the world get really cold, almost as if I was distancing myself from it. I didn't know what to feel or how far things would go for me, but what I do know is that I will never be the same.

Damilla's POV
I layed in my bed thinking about how much I miss home. I don't even wanna give this new school a try. My dad thinks since he got me all these nice new things that I'm supposed to forgive him. To be real, him and I never really had a good relationship to begin with. With him being forceful with the relationship between me and his new wife, I don't think me and him will ever have a good relationship.
"Milla milla", a soft voice spoke. "Yes, mya", I said still laying down on my bed. "Um, daddy said the breakfast is on the kitchen table if you want anything to eat", she said while climbing in my bed playing with my hair. "Ok, I'll be down shortly ", I responded. "Now go finish getting ready so I can walk you to your bus stop", I said while she jumped up and ran out the my door to her room. Damya and I have always been close. When our mom passed from breast cancer we became even closer. I'm all she's got and she's all I got.
I got up from my bed and walked into my bathroom to proceed with my morning hygiene. After I finished I went into my closet to pick out an outfit for my first day of school. I picked out my blue bape sweeter shirt with some slightly ripped blue jeans. I put my hair up into a slick messy bun.
I went downstairs with 5 mins to spare before I had to leave. I grabbed a piece of bacon and my little sisters hand before walking out the door without saying goodbye." I didn't get to say bye to daddy and Ms.Kelly", she whined. "Sorry, baby but I'm in a rush, we didn't have much time",I tried to convince. "You just did that cause you don't like Ms.Kelly", she shot at me. I stopped and looked at her as I seen anger growing on her face. "You can't stay mad at her forever, she didn't even do anything", she shouted. "You don't understand mya", I sighed. She stood in silence. "Look after school when I get home we can eat ice cream and watch all the movies we used to love with mom", I stated. A smile grew upon her face. "Ok", she whispered. "Come on let's go be fore we're late", I smiled and continued walking.
At school
"Hi, my name is Damilla Payton, and I was here to pick up my schedule", I explained to the secretary. "Yes , here it is, um can you have your father or parent guardian send the transformation forms tomorrow", she asked. "Yes ma'am I'll make sure you guys get them", I stated.
I walked down the hallway in search of my lockers and classes. I walked pass this guy who seemed to have the worst attitude I've ever witnessed in my life. You know how you walk pass or your near someone and their vibe is off ....well that just happened. "Hey", this girl runs up to me. "Hi, Do you need any help with anything, I kept seeing you walking around confused", she laughed. "Yea,"I chuckled back. "Ah you can follow me most of our classes are the same or right by each other", she smiled.
In class
When I first walked in everyone was talking and playing. "Aight aight class chill, we got a new comer so let's welcome her", the teacher says. "I'm not gonna ask you to state your name and all that jazz if you don't wanna", he chuckled. I sat looked down and he continued on with class.
At lunch
"Aye", the girl from earlier yelled. I walked over to her. "Hey",I said back. "What's your name I never got it", she asked. "It's Damilla, but I'd rather go by milla", I told her. "I'm, Imoni but people call me moni", she conversed. We talked all through lunch hour and even exchanged numbers. She's the first person I met here who I think is pretty cool.
After school
I was walking home from school when I seen the guy from earlier race down the street in his all black Camaro. He seems so mysterious but yet interesting, but I'm not the type to kiss an assholes ass so I'll leave him alone.
