Chapter 1 first day of school

Nicole's POV
" Nic, wake up your gonna be late for school", mom said

I woke up and looked at the time on my phone. So shocked when the time was 6:56, almost time for school. Geezz gotta hurry

I went to the bathroom and did all of my necessities. After that, I was done with everything except for breakfast. I went to the elevator and pressed ground floor. Yeah an elevator. When I got down I went to the dining table where my mom is preparing the food and she is already in her dress for work. She worked as my dad's assistant at our company which has something to do with : hotels and shipping, the other ones are: my jewelries (I am the owner of that business called 'Nicole's Preciousness ), restaurants and dining (we owned 20 restaurants here at NYC and like 100 and more in other countries), and more businesses

"Come and eat, sweetheart", my mom said.

"Where's dad? " I asked as I sat at the chair.

"In our room, I think he was shaving his stubble" she giggled. I know that my dad hates having his beard but my mom loves his stubble. She says it makes him look more handsome and manly looking. I don't get it, he is already gorgeous and they say hot.

Speaking of the devil, he rounded the corner coming towards us. He gave us both a kiss on the head

"Good morning my girls" he said with a grin forming his lips

"Hey dad, Good Morning "

In front of me was the table full of my favorite foods. There was bacon, eggs, hotdogs, pancakes and more. I ate one of each and they tasted delicious. I love my mom's cooking, also my dad's.

"You kids grow up too fast, I hate it" my mom said with a tear falling down her beautiful face

"Stop crying mom" I answered

"I can't. I am going to miss you when you grow up. We are going to miss you" she said leaning her head at my dad's shoulders

"Mom,  I am just going into middle school not college and I will be here for like six years from now... or maybe more", I answered my mom in my most gentle voice

"I know and I love you

"Yes mom. So dad, is the limo ready outside? "

"Yes it is. Have fun at school. Your mom and I will just take my car. And by the way if you're wondering where in the world your brother is, he went an hour ago" he answered

"That's a first, he is definitely not a morning person. I guess someone is excited for first day of school" after I said that we all burst out laughing. Good thing that Brett is not here, or else he will kill me. Just kidding he loves me

By the way... Brett is my seventeen year old brother

I can't wait for the first day of grade 7. Goodbye Elementary and hello Middle School.

I arrived at school just in time that the bell rang. Just as I was opening tha door of limo, everybody was staring at me. I think they know me. I look like a famous person everybody is gathering around the car as I came out. All of them were whispering to one another. Okay this is awkward. But then I heard their voices

"Nicole!!! " I was greeted by my two best friends, Bel and Shane.

Bella Vertes is my best friend since third grade and so is Shane Lee

I ran towards them and gave them a hug.

"I missed you two over summer!" I said so happily not really noticing the surroundings around
