to the people surrounding him, he was an emotionless and closed off personality. however, what they did not know was that he had a special talent, painting and drawing, that needed to be released. he did not know about this talent either, until he saw her.
it all began when he was walking through the streets, a cold expression on his face. he was trying to entertain himself, and he secretly enjoyed the fresh air outside. he was an introvert, so places where he felt safe and attached to were his second homes. the outdoors, particularly this area where he could clearly see where the blue sky and the green hillside met, was where he felt safe.
he was sitting in this very spot when he spotted her. she was a plain beauty, and so much more. in his eyes, she became the sun, moon, and stars. he could not explain the feelings and emotions beginning to stir inside him. she was plain, but to him, she was breathtaking.
he returned home and unknowingly began to draw. he drew symbols and venues, nature's wonders and man-made wonders, he drew the landscapes he watched everyday. these drawings were all connected to her somehow, but you never would have known that by just looking at them. he drew with the thought of her in his heart.
as the days passed by, he would return to the path where he first saw her almost everyday. it was a routine, he would sit on the bench watching over the hillside, and she would pass by, slowly and gracefully walking down the path. he never once spoke to her, and she never spoke to him.
they would acknowledge each other's presence, but he would always watch her with admiring eyes, and she would watch him with secretly curious eyes. she always wondered about the mysterious boy who would always be sitting on that cobblestone curb whenever she passed by. he would always be focused on writing and drawing in his little leather book whenever she looked at him, and she wanted to talk to him and greet him, but he seemed so focused, and had an aura of peace, and she would have hated to disturb him.
both of them never would have known how much their lives would have been impacted if one of them spoke to the other at least once.
