I woke up in the morning with a big smile on my face. My crush Megan invited me to her birthday party! As usual I put my gray hoodie , my black sweatpants and my blue baseball cap. I went downstairs and ate some bacon and eggs and waited for West to come by. 30 minutes later he knock the door so I put on my shoes, took the gift that was a Pokémon game with a Eevee that I replace with the starter for her gift and open the door. "Let's go West!"I said with a big smile "the party starts in 5 minutes Tyler" West said looking disappointed my smile immediately turns into a shock look. I was thinking about the fastest route to arrive there and then three word came out of West mouth "the Pillcreek Forest" I soon as he said that I ran to the forest forgetting the stupid myth and West "hey wait up." West said catching up "did you forget the myth about the Pillcreek forest" I nod slowly "does who goes inside never come back" West nod looking at the entrance. "Should we go?" I ask him before answering west gulp "Y-yea it's just a stupid old myth right." I knew he felt unsure but I pretended not to notice and walk in the forest.
Once we was in the forest,West started asking me questions "how is your family" or "how is your father doing" I started to get piss because he knows my mom was missing for a year but he is my best friend and I'm his best friend he probably was worried anyway I fake a smile and nod saying everything is ok but I was lying to myself every night I cry myself to sleep for like fifteen minutes so what, it perfectly normal to miss his mom. West know me so well that he know it was a fake smile so he decided to walk with his hand. I chuckled a bit until he stumbles and fell down a small cliff he yell as if he saw a ghost so I check on him and he didn't see a ghost he saw far worse.
