It's been a few months since the Cullens have been back. The new school year has begun and the wolf pack has, even more, jobs than before. They're growing as a pack, but most of them still need to go to school. Amelia, Jake, Quil, Paul, Jared, and Embry are graduating this year and it's making things much harder on the pack. All six of them have to focus on school so that they can graduate, while they also have this whole Victoria issue to still deal with.
So, instead of the pack hanging out at the beach, they all are at Emily's house. Amelia and the rest of the seniors are in the living room trying to get through the huge amount of homework that they have. Leah and Seth haven't arrived yet, but Luna and Tyler are sitting in the kitchen bored out of their minds. They had thought that once Quil arrived into their pack that things would be more fun, but now they are just waiting on their wolves to finish up their homework.
"Hey." Seth says as he walks in.
"Seeeettth." Luna whines. "Make Amy stop doing homework." Seth raises an eyebrow and he and Leah look over to see a good portion of the group in the living room with books upon books in front of them.
"Bry." Leah says, but Embry either hears her or totally ignoring her. He is running his fingers through his hair, obviously frustrated.
"How am I supposed to graduate when I can't even figure out what this means?" Embry groans as he falls back to lay on the floor. Amy sighs.
"I know, I hate Chemistry."
"If we all stay back because of Chemistry then I am soooo going to kill someone." Jared growls.
"I think I'm getting buried alive." Quil whines.
"There's way too much to remember." Jake groans.
"Okay, I need a break before I kill myself or someone else." Paul says as he throws his books onto the ground, just missing Embry's head by an inch.
"Hey, watch where you're throwing those awful things." Embry snaps.
"What are you guys doing?" Leah asks, causing them all to look up at her.
"Chemistry." They say together.
"Bry, take a break." Leah says as she grabs his hand and pulls him up from the ground.
"But we have a project do tomorrow and an essay to right on the different formulas we are using and-
"Bry, breathe." Leah says, causing him to take a deep breath. "Now relax, if you guys are that bad then I can help you."
"Remember what happened the last time you and 'Bry' studied together?" Paul grins, causing Leah and Embry's face to turn bright red.
"T-That was one time." Leah stammers.
"Uh, that we know of." Jared grins.
"Do you want my help or not." Leah snaps, causing them to flinch. She can still be a bit sharp and mean to the pack. She isn't good with talking to people and she has a very short fuse. Embry wraps his arms around his imprint, kissing her temple, causing Leah to close her eyes and bury her face into Embry's neck, relaxing in his arms.
Instead of teasing Embry the group just smiles at how sweet the two are together. Embry and Leah are perfect for each other. While Embry is all quiet and calm, Leah is all loud and hot-headed. Embry manages to keep her calm, while Leah manages to get him to be more outgoing. Best of all they make each other happy.
Embry smiles as he holds Leah before pulling back. "Better?" Leah blushes and gives a shy smile, causing Embry's smile to grow before he swoops down and steals a kiss, which Leah's face even redder.
"Okay, you two are disgusting." Jared says, but they all know he is lying. He slams his books shut and start for the kitchen. "I'm taking a break."
"Use a condom!" Amy shouts as she closes her own books.
"Fuck off, Amy!" Amy grins as she hears Jared before hearing the door close.
"Okay, I'm starving." Paul says. "Emily, do you have anything to eat?" Paul asks as he walks into the kitchen.
"Just made cookies."
"Cookie!" The entire pack flood the kitchen, minus Jared and Tyler.
"They have to cool for a minute, all of you, go sit down." The pack pouts and makes their way to the table. To reserve chairs, because there isn't enough room for the entire pack, they sit together in one chair with their imprints. Paul wraps his arms around Luna and rests his chin on her shoulder, while Embry sits back in his chair and Leah sits on his lap, her head resting on his chest, and her arms around his waist. Amy sits with her back to Seth, his arms tightly wrapped around her and his face buried in her neck, inhaling her comforting scent. Jake and Quil frown as they see the wolves with their imprints. Quil has an imprint, but his is a little girl and she currently is with her mom, while Jake has no imprint. Sam is busy helping Old Quil out, so he isn't here.
"So how is the studying going?" Luna asks, who is a year behind them. They all gave a groan.
"I swear they pile so much crap on us just to make us stay back." Paul says.
"I know like we have Chemistry, which has so much stuff involved with it. Then we have math and English, which are just as bad, and we have all the stupid electives that aren't really electives because they are forcing us to take them." Amy says. "I can't keep up with it all."
"None of us can. Not with homework, projects, essays, and patrol to do." Jake says.
"But we can't just forget patrol that'd mean Sam, Leah, Seth, and Luna would be the only ones to patrol."
"Well... that is how it was before Jake phased." Amy says. "It had just been Paul, Jared, Sam, and I. I'm sure they could if they needed to."
"But we don't want to." Luna smiles.
"Babbbbe." Paul whines, causing Luna's smile to fall. "I can't keep up with it all."
"None of us can." Amy sighs. Leah rolls her eyes.
"Look, Seth is great at Math, he'll do your guy's math work, I'll do your chemistry, and Leah-
"I'm good at English, I can do that for you guys."
"And the rest you'll handle." Leah says.
"We can't ask you guys to do that." Embry says.
"Plus, wouldn't they be able to tell it was all done by the same three people?" Amy asks.
"Not in Math." Seth says.
"And in English you just make a different argument."
"In Chemistry I'll just reword things and the homework for the class will all be the same like Math." Leah says.
"Are you guys really willing to do that?" Jake asks.
"We're these guys imprints, we can't just leave you guys to suffer. We'll see if Ty can-
"Tyler, has took all her classes to graduate." Amy says. "She technically could have graduated last year because she is so smart, but she decided to graduate with Jared, so she's taking a few small classes." Amy finishes.
"So then she'd be happy to help you guys out by taking half of your work." Luna says. "I'll help you all in English, Seth with Math, Leah with Chemistry, and everything else will be divided up by how hard it is. The hard stuff Tyler will do and the other stuff you guys do."
"Maybe we should ask Ty before signing her up for-" Quil begins.
"She'll be willing to if she wants to graduate with Jared. That's the whole point of her not graduating last year." Leah says.
"True." Luna agrees.
"Honestly, I have no idea where we'd be without you guys." Amy smiles.
"What are family for."
