the last time
i told someone
i loved them
i didn't mean it
the last time
someone told me
they loved me
they didn't mean it
i thought saying it
would bring back
that spark and
make it true again
they thought saying it
would make the
doubt somehow
disappear like that
we both were
completely
utterly wrong
because love died
and sometimes
there's no way
to revive it
back to life
