Chapter Twenty: The Fight
Josephine flexed her fingers and stared into Annabeth's eyes, and her hunger for blood was hard to miss. The drool dropped from her fangs and onto the floor, and Annabeth watched the venom swim around the droplet of her inner fluid: her venom was pungent, and this meant she was a powerful vampire.
"I should thank your brother, Annabeth;" Josephine spoke as the pupils in her red eyes dilated from the surge of adrenaline, "Being a vampire isn't that bad." She laughed and charged for Annabeth.
Annabeth pushed her arms forward and held back Josephine's strength, which was hard because of the amount she had, but she had been pushed through the wall and almost fell off the island Kong Studios balanced upon.

Edgar walked down the path to the grave where he had met Annabeth again, and he bowed his head at his father's grave. "I'm sorry, father," He began, squinting his eyes as he attempted to hold back his cries, "I couldn't control my anger and I used my powers for bad. I failed you." He burst into tears as he recalled his last memories of his father.
Edgar fell to his knees and looked to the floor, he saw, what looked like to be, a wooden stake. He picked it up and held the point to his chest, "I'm coming to see you." He declared but, just as he pushed the stake away so he could force it through his chest, something in his head twitched: a kind of sense that told him his sister was in trouble.
Edgar stood up and hid the stake in his cloak, then wiped his eyes and looked down to his father's grave, "I will right my wrongs, father." He smiled and ran for Kong Studios.

Everyone else rushed out of the way
and prayed that Annabeth would be safe, and their prayers were answered; Edgar ran inside the building and pierced his long nails of his right hand into the back of Josephine's neck and pulled her back, while he used his left hand to pull Annabeth up from the deadly drop below.
Josephine choked as she was pulled back, but once Annabeth had been brought back to safety Edgar removed his spears and Josephine could breath once again. 2-D and Evangeline watched in awe as the holes in Josephine's neck healed up and only blood stains remained.
Edgar hugged his sister and whispered in her ear, "I'm sorry I changed." Annabeth sniffed and wiped a tear from her cold cheek, then she turned her head and innocently kissed her brother's face.
"Urgh, how disgusting!" Josephine cried as she pulled a horrified face, "I wish I was dead."
"That can be arranged." A voice replied from the doorway, Josephine searched for the source of the voice. Once she found the holder of the chilling remark, she gasped.
"Norah?" Josephine pondered in concern as her old, human, personality suddenly came back.
"Yes, Josephine." Norah stared at her old beloved through her black hair, "I said that, and I'm not afraid to k..." She paused and gulped away the emotions, then continued her truthful statement, "I'm not afraid to kill you."
