The day they met

It was the month of July,2015. Everyone in state was getting ready as the schools,universities were to reopen today. Everybody was happy,but not Aiden. For him it was just another usual day. Aiden was a 18 year old middle class boy living with his family in Texas,U.S. Aiden didn't had the faintest idea that someone was going to come in his life and change the way he see's everything. It was Reiko,a beauty undefinable. Reiko was born in California and had shifted to Texas recently, after her sister's marriage.When Aiden first saw her in class, sitting on a bench beside him, he was lost! . Lost in thoughts that how could any being be so beautiful, is she angel?, am i dreaming?. He wasn't able to take his eyes off her. That complete day he thought of her. The next day he decided to talk with her , and so he stood by the door waiting for her to come. She came,but Aiden wasn't able to gather courage to approach her. He wasn't able to think of anything,not make a single move. He continued to do so for several days . At last he decided that instead of facing her directly he could use help of some social media to start a conversation. So he created accounts on all major social sites and began spending time on them to find her. At last he identified her Id at Instagram and Facebook with help of her friend's list.By this time it was October 13,2015. It was the day he first messaged her.He eagerly waited for her reply for hours. At nearly midnight, he saw a reply from her,"who are you?", "do i know you?". The questions that she asked didn't matter. The biggest happiness for Aiden was that Reiko replied to her. Aiden,at first,decided to reveal his name, but due to inferiority complex, decided to remain anonymous.He just said her that he is her classmate and that he can't reveal his name as after that she might not talk to her. She insisted on saying the name and said that she doesn't care who he is, she will talk to him anyways. He pleaded to not to ask his name and confused her with all the names of her classmates and talked to her remaining anonymous. Reiko also talked with him with hope of knowing his name someday. And that day did came. After talking to her for several days, Aiden was satisfied that she is good and will make me her friend ignoring what and who i am. So, he finally revealed his name to her. At first Reiko wasn't believing that it's Aiden, but after Aiden gave some proofs,Reiko was satisfied. That day they talked a lot. They talked for hours and hours until it was difficult for them to type a message or even keep their eyes open. So they both decided to meet at college the next day and ended their conversation. Reiko went to sleep after this. But, it was Aiden who couldn't sleep the whole night, excited to meet Reiko at college.It was the first time that he was so excited to meet someone. That night was the beginning of a new life for Aiden.

The next day Aiden woke up early and began grooming himself. That day he dressed himself like never before. Searched the net for tips on how to talk to a girl, how to look good, how to impress her,how to make her fall for him and all other things which he didn't knew wont help him in his real encounter with her. He wasn't even able to open his mouth in front of her. They just kept staring at each other, smiling, trying to speak through actions. After coming home they talked about how they felt shy to approach each other and what they feel when they see each other. Reiko, considered Aiden as a friend, but, for Aiden, she was far more than that. She was everything which Aiden ever wanted. To him,she meant more than all his family and friends. But, fearing that he might loose her even as a friend, Aiden never disclosed his feelings in front of her. But, it didn't helped. All his classmates began talking about them as everyone knew what he felt for Reiko, not by what he said, but what he showed. His actions were clear indication of his feelings for her.When Reiko came to know about his feelings,she thought of talking to Aiden and explaining that there is nothing like love and that they can never be anything more than friends. But, after talking to Aiden, she didn't had any words to say. Listening to all his feelings and just how he can't live without her, Reiko thought there is no way to explain Aiden and get herself out of it. So she decided that she would stop talking to him. By doing this she thought Aiden would forget her, and move on with his life. But, she didn't knew that Aiden has come very far now,and there is no way that he's going to be normal again. Instead of forgetting her, Aiden went into depression, and stopped smiling or listening to any of the lectures. The only thing that he did now was to just keep seeing her everyday, every moment in college, with eyes full of pain, wishing to talk to her. Reiko felt pity on him and again started to talk to him. By this point, seeing how much Aiden is committed to her and seeing his selfless love for her, she also began to have some feelings for him. She wasn't sure what it was, she had never experienced this kind of thing ever before. For once she thought "is it love?", "does it really happen?","am I really in love with him?", but then thinking of her parents, she thought it might be just a temporary feeling emerged because of talking so much to him. She didn't said anything about this to Aiden. Now, Aiden and Reiko began talking in college finding one or the other reason to communicate. Aiden told Reiko about his feelings everyday, he always used to say her "I love you" in their every conversation. At first,Reiko used to stop him, but even then he continued to say it,and that eventually increased Reiko's feelings for him.Now, they were going smoothly, having daily conversations of up to 8-10 hours. The problems arose when Aiden began to become possessive related to Reiko. He didn't liked Reiko talking to anybody, seeing anyone or even talking about anyone,but him.At first Reiko listened to Aiden and avoided talking to anyone. She considered that it's very cute than Aiden is so possessive about her. But Aiden's wishes were growing day by day. Now he wanted that she talks to her parents about him,go out with him,and leave every other friend she has and just to be with him. Aiden has changed a lot since starting. At first, he considered himself inferior to her, and thus accepted her however she was. But now Aiden wanted Reiko to become as he wants.He misunderstood Reiko's sympathy with love , and began making plans for their future. His misconceptions broke when they finally had their fight over increasing demands of Aiden.Reiko explained that how it's becoming difficult for her to cope with Aiden's demands. She said that he is not his husband, nor his boy friend,or anyone so important that he changes herself for him. At start,Aiden argued over the point,but finally accepted that it was him who took things the wrong way.He realized that he is nothing more than just a friend of Reiko. But, he still wanted her, he wanted Reiko to like him,to be with him.So, he thought of a plan. He thought if her family knows about him, then maybe Reiko can spend more time with him, and they can be more than "just friends".But, it didn't worked as expected,instead it made things more worse.Seeing Aiden trying to bring her family into this matter, she got afraid.She told Aiden that from now on, they aren't friends, as his actions have brought a lot of trouble upon her, and she doesn't want Aiden to ever contact her. Hearing this Aiden was broken and realized how big mistake he has made.He didn't wanted to loose her,he begged her for forgiveness and said that he would never do such things from now. Gave her chocolates and sorry messages. Reiko felt pity on Aiden and forgave him. Now, Aiden saw to it that he never makes any mistake that would cause Reiko to go away from him. But, as we know change isn't so easy. Aiden came across some pictures of Reiko on Instagram, which created a huge drama. Reiko was standing with some other guy and that picture was posted publicly. Aiden got very ,very angry at this. He thought that Reiko didn't talked with any guy, and her family is strict, and that might be the reason that she cant introduce him to her family.But when he came to know that she had many friends, and even her family knew about it,her friends even used to hangout with her, he got a feeling that he was mistreated.He thought that Reiko just didn't gave him the importance he deserved ,and just used to make up all the reasons to keep him away from herself.

This was the point when Aiden forgot about love and all the nice things. The only thing going on his mind now was revenge. He began to behave rudely with Reiko,said her that her character was bad, and did everything just to make sure she is feeling bad as equal as she made him to feel.Reiko asked him a hundred times that what's the reason behind this change in his behavior,but Aiden wouldn't answer.But, Aiden wanted answers. He wanted to know what was the real reason for her to mistreat him, and not introducing him to her family.So Aiden now disclosed the picture he had,and said that he wants to hear nothing but truth,no matter what it is.Seeing the picture Reiko was shocked. She had no idea that her past might come like this in front of her. She, at first, tried to ignore Aiden's questions related to picture, but deep in heart even she wanted to make things normal again. So she started explaining Aiden about everything.She started with how her life was completely different when she was in Chicago, and how she used to hangout with her friends. She explained that when she was in Chicago , her parents used to ask her about her friends ,meet them, and allowed her to hangout with them, there was no one to question about anything. But since the marriage of her sister, and after they shifted to Texas, everything has changed. Now , all their relatives stayed in Texas,and everyone was very concerned with what she does. Her parents no longer asked her about her friends, instead, said her to be away from boys.Restrictions were being imposed on her after coming here.She explained that even she wanted to introduce him to her family, but conditions never favored.

Hearing this Aiden felt guilty of his actions,and that how he raised questions on her character.He felt so bad about his behavior that cut his hand to get relief from his guilt. He began asking Reiko for punishment,so that she could forgive him,but Reiko as usual forgave him without any punishment and instead said that she is happy that now there is nothing that could start a fight between them. By this time, Reiko was also in love with Aiden. She was into something she once didn't believed in.Both of them began growing affectionate towards each other. Now Reiko and Aiden didn't cared about what people thought. They began spending time with each other,hanging out, sharing their accounts, always looking to do something to make the other one happy.Aiden understood why Reiko can't talk about him to his parents and so instead of waiting for her, Aiden went to Reiko's house along with his parents for asking Reiko's hand.Reiko who never had courage to stand in front her parents was now standing in front of them holding Aiden's hands. Her parents after listening to the whole story and seeing how much Aiden loved and cared for their daughter agreed for their marriage. Aiden, who never used to talk to anyone,wanted to remain isolated from world, is now holding Reiko's hands and they are sitting together, in front of everyone,chatting and sharing a meal. Reiko who didn't used to believe in love was now madly in love with Aiden.It's amazing how love happens in the most unexpected way and changes everything we ever knew. How two persons unfamiliar to each other now can't live without each other. Science can never explain the cause of such changes and so much affection of being to another. It's beyond anything that words can explain. To see what love is one has to experience it. And whether we want or not, there is a point in everyone's life when they fall for someone. Some people are lucky and get to stay together, but some have to live their lives just with the memories of time they spent together. Love is not finding someone to live with, it's all about finding someone you can't live without. There are many stories of love, everyone unique in their own kind.Some stories such as of Romeo and Juliette are known worldwide and some like Aiden and Reiko's remain unsaid.
