Dear Mum,
You're probably worried about me, I can imagine. Don't worry, it'll turn out better in the end.
I know we've hit hard times, putting it mildly, and what I've done, I've done for the family. Please understand me when I say this.
By the time you have read this, I'll be long gone. I'm not dead, but don't look for me. You're not going to find me.
The money will come through within a week or two, into Dad's bank account. You'll get more each month, and it should be enough to keep you going, at least until Lynn's old enough to work.
Thank you for everything you've done for me, it's not you're fault that I've gone. It was my choice.
From,
Your beloved son.
