7. Time to get to know each other

I was staring out through the car window, at the orange autumn leaves falling from the wind, meanwhile thinking to myself about how i haven't felt this good is the longest time. Ever since i moved out a part of me has felt really lonely but now turning over my head looking up Alex, who is currently driving, i know that i feel good again. I don't know if I'm catching feeling to fast, but i really like him but then again.. i don't even know anything about him. Thats it! I am determine to change that today. What even is today? A date? Nah surely not!?

"Like what you see?" Without realising i had been daydreaming while staring at Alex, I quickly lock my eyes on the road, trying to dismiss my now rosy cheeks away from him. He softly chucked at my actions and placed his arm on the the console between us and held out his hand, i looked up at him and his hand before slowly and softly placing my hand in his, to which he tugged on my hand slightly.

"Were almost there" He says which i was happy about, we had been in the car for about 15 minutes already

"Ok" i smiled replying with a soft voice, while playing with his fingers in my hand

*A moment later*

We pulled into a parking lot not far away from the pier, its parked out side of a ice-cream shop which i have never been into before. It was so pretty and colourful, the bricks on the outside of the shop was a bright baby blue, with different coloured metal chairs out the front and a yellow flooring inside from what i could see, which looked very invited and intriguing, i have to stop in there some other time.

"Its nice, isn't it" I turn my head towards the voice and nod, somehow he always catches me in my trance

"Yeah, its so cute" I smiled and walked towards his as we started walking towards the pier

It was about a 3 minute walk to the pier as i said before it wasn't that far which was good because on most days like todays its hard to get a spot so close. For a moment i wasn't sure why it was so quiet until i realised there was a festival in town today, although i don't remember what it was about

"So, Alex"

"So, Jennifer" he chucks smiling down at me

"Tell me something about your self" I said while looking out at the sea still walking

"hmm, what would you like to know" I could feel his eyes on me but i kept mine forward

"Well why don't we start off with your birthday, because i still don't even know how old you are!" i looked up at him at this point and his eyes were much wider now, he then stopped and froze, he moved his eyes towards me and looked me up and down, instantly giving me shivers "whats wrong?" i say softly

"How the fuck did i not realise this" he looked serious concerned

"Well i guess things just happened so quick" i say taking small steps towards him and taking his hand in mine "Maybe tell me how old you are first?"

"Im, 21" i lean back looking at his face more taking in what he just said, it wasn't even far off mine, his still scared, I'm going to be a little shit right now!

"Your 21" i say loudly acting taken back "oh my god Jen what" he says taking a little step back more worried and scared then before "Alex I'm 15" his eyes widen a lot with his eyebrows fully raised

"Your fucking 15" by the state of his face, i couldn't help my self but to laugh out loudly and his face then drops emotionless "Why are you laughing"

"i'm 18" i say finally my laughs dying down

"You bitch" he says moving towards me quickly and smashing our lips together, i pull his neck in towards me more before pulling away to catch a breath

And giggled after into his chest at our foolishness
