-KURO'S P.O.V-

The immense pride they had swallowed up just to ensure their own King's safety was just beautiful. I was actually shivering, goosebumps were everywhere. I mean, they themselves just stopped and accepted on what was occurring. Before anything were to happen, i at least have to ensure that we were gone without a trace. His whereabouts are not to be known to anyone. I left as they were distracted by the howling wind. I rushed to the Gold King's area. I waited and waited.

The Red Clan's action before I left bringing Mikoto with me was still lingering within my mind. My heart was just about to sink much deeper in my stomach. I felt a person's hand on my shoulder. "There is still time for him, had you brought him much later..." The Gold King spoke, I was astounded. I was just happy to know that he was able to be saved. I just could not have another king die in my arms. I just couldn't, just getting back on my feet after the Silver King's death. At least the Red Clan family would not suffer as i did a long tine ago.

I was just releasing a sigh of relief, I would like to rush back to Homra and just tell them about Mikoto's condition. That he was able to be saved. I was about to walk away after sending Mikoto to the Gold King.

" I think it would be better if no one knew how his condition is.." he spoke as he looked sharply towards me. I just can't imagine how it would be for Amamine and the Homra Clan. I definitely can keep my mouth shut, but i doubt that my conscience would allow it. I tightened my grip on my sword, at that thought.

-Amamine's P.O.V- 

I reached back home, to the bar. I barely pushed the door and there was a huge glomp out of nowhere. It was Anna. She suddenly hugged me and was sniffling as well. I slowly stroked her hair and patted her back. I was signalling the others, but they too were looking solemn. I couldn't help but wonder where Mikoto was, because whenever Anna was feeling low he'd be calming her down.

"Izumo-san, where is Mikoto?" As i asked this question he couldn't help but flinched. "He went out earlier, didn't you cross path?", well i accepted that answer as Mikoto usually would talk a lonely stroll by himself.

"Anyways, did any of you ever heard the name "Black Dog" before?" There was another flinch. Izumo stopped in his tracks, when i asked this. Yata, too was just out of words. It was like something was kept hidden from me.
I need to know. I HAVE TO.

I got angry, "COME ON, SPILL IT OUT, WHAT'S GOING ON!!" But there was no answer everyone just ignored my yelling. Due to that, i calmed my nerves, just slowly inhaling and exhaling. I just down want my anger to affect our baby...here in public, where my whole family is around...
  
"We-", before i could start another round of interrogation with Izumo, i was cut short as Anna was just tugging my t-shirt. I looked down on to Anna, i mean how could you even continue to talk once you have seen the adorable face she's making. I pushed slightly far away from me so that i could squat infront of her. I haven't done this with for quite sometime. I mean with the pregnancy, morning sickness. Just being lazy to walk out and laying in bed.

Just the thought of everything going around. I just tossed the anger out the window. Instead, Yata consoled me and Anna, he patted my head along with Anna's as well. It was super awkward, but i just let it be. I took a deep breath, held Yata's hand and placed it away stood up , " Thank you, Yata." I slowly went up the steps up the staircase, heading into Mikoto's room. I locked the door behind me, moving towards the bed and plopped down. I had a thought of wanting to yeet on the bed - but it won't be a proper way.

Either way, i let all the thoughts before out of my mind, calming me down. I slowly drifted off to sleep with the scent of Mikoto lingering in the room and on the sheets.
