"Today's the day, Jade! today's the big day," said Roger.
"Calm down, Roger. You might not even get the job," said Jade (Roger's wife.)
"This is why they have job interviews, to see if you're worthy enough for the job. And I know I'm definitely going to get in," exclaimed Roger as he was tying a tie around his collar in front of a full body sized mirror. As Roger finished up getting ready, him and Jade made their way into the living room, where their 18 month baby (Daniel) was starring at the ceiling from inside his play pen.
"Come here, you!" Jade swiped Daniel up and carried him out to his car seat.
"So how long do you think the flight will be?" asked Jade.
"About 14 hours. It's not that short of a flight to get across the north Atlantic ocean," replied Roger. They hopped in the car and made their way to the New York airport.
Roger, Jade and the baby finally made it to the front of the line for the metal detector. BEEP BEEP BEEP! "Sir, can you please step out," asked the officer running the metal detector to Roger. Roger took a step out of the machine.
"Oh! Forgot about this," Roger said as he swiped his great grandpa's dagger out of his pocket. "Always have to be safe," he said again. After they all got through the metal detector, they got on the plane.
So far it's been 7 hours on their flight to London. "Whoa! Roger, look! I've never seen that island before," said Jade looking down at the undiscovered island then back up at Roger.
"It looks like a helicopter already crashed here," Roger exclaimed as they passed over the wreckage.
"Attention, passengers. We need you all to stay calm for the news we're about to give you. One of our engines ruptured, but we're doing the best we can to land on the island below!" Called out the co-pilot on the loud speaker. Everyone started to cause a commotion about the situation. Roger could definitely feel the airplane speeding towards the ground and he started to panic.(Just like everyone else on the plane.)
Roger was having deep thoughts about the situation. Could this be it? Is this the way I go? Is this how I die? He looked over at Jade, full of fear, clutching Daniel in her arms. "This is it!" Said Jade to Roger. He didn't reply. The plane getting closer to the ground each second. Jade was holding on Daniel so hard, he couldn't move.
"HOLD ON!" Shouted Roger. Everyone squeezed their eyes shut...BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!!!!!!!!!
