I had the merit of being beside Rabbi Revah most days from 1994 to 1999. I have often said that that he is one of the 36 people who hold up the world. If I had to go to a Beit Din I would ask him to be on my side. He can take the most complicated subject and make it clear and simple. I was told more than once he is considered one of the top people alive in Gemara. Dovy said at the Shabbat table that all I do is talk about Rabbi Revah.

I learned more Torah in those 5 years than most people coming from my background do in a lifetime. The Rabbi and I did a funeral in Barrie, Ontario a city of about 144,000 people which is north of Toronto. The people kept asking me questions. I said I am not the Rabbi. He is the Rabbi. On the way home the Rabbi said why don't you team up with Armand a well known chazan and do funerals together. That never happened. Rabbi Revah is my Rav today.
