There's something in the Closet...

"What's that sound?"
"It's nothing go back to sleep."
"But I have a bad feeling..."
Katja rolled over and opened her dark emerald eyes, and dark emerald eyes stared back.
"Remind me why I sleep in the same bed as you?" Asked Katja,
"I dunno why do you insist on sleeping with me?"
Katja's eyes narrowed as she glared at the set of eyes before her, and eyes, filled with intelligence and beauty stared back. Kaylan sat up and threw off her covers; a shiver coursed through her body. She rubbed her bare arms and legs, and for a second thought about crawling back into bed. Katja came up behind her, and pulled her back laying Kaylan's head on her soft but firm chest, the perfect pillow thought Kalan. Kaylan was just about to close her eyes when-Krreeek-Kaylan sat bolt upright.
"What is it?" asked Katja.
"You know those squeaky floor boards in between the living room and dads study?" Kaylan inquired; "Ya, so what?" Said Katja, "dad stepped on the floor, big deal,"
No." Said Kaylan, "Dad and mom would never step on them, especially while we were sleeping."
It finally seemed to dawn on the drowsy Katja. "Well if not mom or dad then,"-she looked over at their clock sitting on their night stand,-"who would be hear at four-o-clock in the morning?"
Kaylan slipped out of bed, fighting the urge to go back to her "pillow;" feeling cold again she grabbed her robe and stepped into her slippers. Katja did the same, and then followed her out their bedroom door and down the hall, filled with thirteen years' worth of their memory's and even more of their mom and dad's. Photos covered the elegantly trimmed walls, their parents in mid kiss, after their father had pulled their mothers wedding veil back. Their dad and uncle smiling for the camera, their dad the older of the two had a gap in his. It had been a long day for the brothers; they'd done everything from eating apples to using pliers. They had finely managed to get it out after climbing on the roof, tying his tooth to a cinderblock and sending it over the edge. The Twins had attempted the same stunt only to be stopped by the all-powerful mom who had eyes in the back of everyone's heads. They walked till they came to their father's study, which he used as his home office; they could hear their father talking to someone.
"It's so good to see you again;
"Kaylan was about to slip in and go over to their father, when Katja opened the hallway closet door which was connected to the study and stepped in pulling her sister behind her. They peered through the study closets sliding-double-washboard-doors. "What the-" Katja had her hand over Kaylan's mouth, Her other hand was holding a finger up to her own.
"Shhh," she whispered. "Listen," They peered through the crack in between the two doors. A tall man with ginger hair had his back to them; their dad was still talking;
"Did they finally give you a vacation? You should see the girls they're almost fourteen."
"Couldn't be more proud of them," chide in their mother, who was sitting on their fathers lap. But their smiles faded as the man pulled something out from under his sleeveless black leather duster, which glinted in the lamplight. Kaylan squinted to see what it was... it was... a gun!
"No," their father said, "please tell me it isn't true, and please tell me you don't have the master chip." "Stevin," thought Kaylan, "wasn't that the name of-no it couldn't be,"-Stevin raised the gun very slowly; his hands were shaking as if the gun weighed more than he could lift.
"Daniel!" their mother cried. Daniel Koal pushed his wife Rachel down just as a bullet flew by where her head had been. Daniel ran over to Stevin and tackled him; Rachel ran over to the desk, opened one of the drawer's and pulled out a gun. Her hands where trembling,
"Stevin," she said; tears welling up in her eyes, "Stop this we can help you!"
The girls watched as Stevin pushed their father off of him and regained his former stance of a Desert Eagle with Zenith Ent. Printed down the side; pointed at their fathers head. Daniel started to get up when his eyes met two sets of Dark emerald, and in that split second of shock and hesitation a bullet was embedded in his brain. His blood splattered, tainting the white walls and their pale faces. They couldn't, see, breath, or hear, only feel, feel the blood of their father soaking into their skin. Then they could hear; there was a thud, a lowed BANG, then a splintering crack as the bullet from the dropped gun broke through the closet door singeing Kaylan hair. All of a sudden they could hear their mother weeping see her cradling their father's lifeless body in her arms, the smell of fresh blood filling their nostrils make them sick to their stomachs, then nothing. Just more of the first, feelings of blood socking onto their skin, accept this time it was the blood of their mother. The man named Stevin started to put his Desert Eagle in a holster under his duster, then paused for second. He looked as if he had the feeling that someone was watching him; two sets of eyes, he sniffed the air but the smell of blood was to strong, he listened but there was no sound, but there it was again, a sense of being watched. He looked over in the direction of their hiding place. The two girls in hiding could see him now, he looked so familiar; his broad shoulders, the way he stood as if challenging the world to a fight and expected to win. Looking him in the eyes Kaylan could see them, a gnarled green as if he were looking up from the bottom of a lake, they were lighter than theirs, yet; somehow darker as if his mind wasn't there, not crazy, just somehow empty; His eyes narrowed, and just for a second Kaylan could have sworn they made eye contact. He seemed to come to a decision or overcome some sort of obstacle; he caged his Desert Eagle and turned away. Death had come in the night, not speaking a word, but they felt like they knew his voice, his looks, but they couldn't place it. They couldn't think strait for only one thought was going through their heads. Dead... gone... their parents where dead... gone. They were, and still are alone, God had forsaken them and Satin had killed their parents, and taken their souls. Inside they were dead and lifeless, just like mother and father. They did not speak as tears made up of their parents blood rolled down their cheeks. That's all they knew as it soaked into them, and poured in from under the door that they dare not open for fear of facing the nightmare the awaited them on the other side. Hell was born in their minds that night, and Satin spoke to them.
