Aura Everwood is a vampire werewolf hybrid her mom Julia is a vampire and her father Cain is the alpha of the Evergreen pack Julia and Cain found out they were mates when they were 20 which is a little late for an alpha because mates can be found the day after their 17th birthday.
It came as a shock to them that they were mates seems how werewolves and vampires are mortal enemies Cain had already taken his place as alpha when he turned 17 so being mated to a vampire most likely wouldn't go over too well with his pack.
And it didn't at first but the pack learned to accept it and grew to love Julia has their luna. Julia was sweet as can be and genuinely cared about everyone's well being in the pack.
After a year Julia and Cain tried to produce a baby but it's extremely rare for a vampire to be able to conceive a werewolf's baby.
But just when they were about to give up at age 24 julia's pregnancy test came up positive they were ecstatic to have a baby on the way. To have an heir to take place as alpha when they were of age.
But then at 4 months they found out the gender of their baby it was a girl that couldn't be the first born of an alpha was supposed to be a male to be able to take over as alpha when they turn 17. There had never been a female alpha before until now.
What other choice did they have it was almost impossible to get pregnant the first time it certainly wouldn't happen again. They had decided that it would be extremely hard for a hybrid female to be accepted as a alpha. But they would make it happen.
So that's what they did when Aura was born she was extremely stronger than most and grew faster at 3 months she was walking. This wasn't normal if the world found out about the little baby hybrid it would be bad people would want her dead. When people don't know what's going to happen they get scared and when people get scared they want it gone.
The alpha and Luna hid their baby from all other packs from knowing about her until she was older their own pack learned to accept aura for who she was knowing she would be a powerful alpha.
But not everyone agreed with her becoming alpha not only was she a hybrid but she was a female. It was unknown if a female could run a pack on her own. Although most people learned to love Aura.
By the time Aura was 5 her growth started to become more normal she looked like a 5 year old and she started to grow like a normal werewolf pup. People in the pack found comfort in this. Aura was one of the sweetest, bubbly little girls you ever did see.
Aura was extremely social with everyone and the pack saw her as sacred. Everyone grew a need to protect her as they believed she was a gift from the moon goddess.
At age 6 Aura learned how to change her eyes into her hybrid ones hybrids have their own special eyes that if anyone saw them they would know they are a hybrid. So Aura could change her normal blue eyes that she was born with to her hybrid purple ones.
At age 8 Aura started to have trouble keeping her eyes in check. Whenever she got upset or mad they would show. When auras hybrid eyes would show she could compel people to do as she pleased.
At age 10 Aura has started to wonder why she had never been out of her pack walls. She became very curious and her father grew worrisome. He has placed a pack protecter with her at all times. Aura didn't really mind though she and the protector who's name was Liam became great friends he being 17 at the time.
Liam grew to be a big brother figure to her at 13 when the boys would try to date her he would fight them off. Aura eventually felt very trapped and hated being home school and begged her dad to let her go to public school outside of the pack.
Cain tried to explain to his 13 year old in the nicest way possible that people outside the wall wouldn't be as accepting as the pack is. But she didn't care she pushed and pushed her dad to let her go and finally when she turned 16 he finally agreed to let her go.
He believed she had been trained well enough in combat and her powers to be let out of the walls finally to go to a public school. Which was a mixed supernatural school which consisted of werewolves vampires and witches. He agreed to let her go on two conditions 1 Liam had to go to school with her to watch after her and 2 that she let no one know that she was a hybrid to them she would just be a normal werewolf student. This meant keeping her eyes in check.
Liam being 23 now still looked very young and could pass as 17 because werewolves age slower. Liam agreed to enroll in school with her as her older cousin in order to be able to watch after her and make sure nothing happened to her.
It was was very important that no one found out what Aura was, there were very few hybrids that existed in fact hybrids were only a legend no one knew if they were real or not. If anyone were to find out what she was one of three things could happen 1. They would want her dead because of how scared of her power people were 2. They would want to use her for her power. Or 3 they would be fine with it. But no ones bet was on the 3rd one.
