Money for Memories

After a young girl, Brianna Simpson, gets amnesia after being abused seriously by her boyfriend, she cannot recall the past couple of years. Her concerned family is desperate for her to never find out about her incident, yet there are a few holes that they need to fill. How do they fill it? Their solution - pay someone to pretend to be her boyfriend. Cue the fake boyfriend - Andrew. Brianna falls for him, believing the lies. And Andrew? Could it be that he fell for the lie that he was?

"Drew?" Karen asked.

"Yes?" He had a cautious look in his eyes, like a wary prey watching out for its predator.

"Can you do it?"

"What, make your daughter fall in love with me, and be her boyfriend, and act as if it's been that way for three years?" Karen and Patrick nodded, desperation in their hopeful eyes.

"Oh, please. I do things like this for a living. They pay me to do this, you know. Why should this be any different?" He smiled and chuckled, shaking hands with the couple. And so, the deed was done, and even if they tried, they could only wish to reverse this. Only wish to pretend it never happened. But alas, this house of cards will come falling, even if you deconstruct it, step by step.
