Dia de los Muetros is not Spanish Halloween. It's a holiday to celebrate and honor the lives of loved ones who have passed away. Turning this into some costume is disrespecting centuries of culture.
A rapist is not a joke or costume! You'd think these things would be obvious, but I've seen people dressed as infamous rapists as their costume. It's disgusting. If and when you do this, you're pushing rape culture even deeper into society and you could trigger survivors. It's not okay.
Eskimos, again, people, not costumes. Just because their lifestyle is different than yours doesn't mean you get to make a mockery of them. How would you like it if someone threw on a red, white, and blue, grabbed a Starbucks and some McDonald's, started talking like an obnoxious bastard, and said they were dressed up as an American? (Or with whatever country you're from)
Slavery. Why is this necessary to explain?! Thousands of people were forced into labor and killed. Some still are. It's not a costume. It's not a joke. Just stop.
