He held his hands up. "Hey, don't mind me. Just trying to get to the bathroom." He regarded my current look. "I hadn't realised it was occupied."
"Ah..." I felt a light blush come to my cheeks as I I stepped aside, looking anywhere else.
Once I heard the lock in the door click behind him, I quickly slipped into my bra, as well as the new panties, sweatpants and tshirts the staff had left for me. I was just tying the hem of the shirt around my waist when I felt someone come up close behind me.
Andreas wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling my back firmly againt his front. My heart lept into my throat as every hair on my body stood on end. "Hi." His voice was right by my ear, his cheek brushing against my hair.
"Woah." I don't know if I can do this. Despite my reservations mentally, my body responded instantaenously to his, relaxing in his hold. I caught myself smiling at the how good it felt to have his body against mine. I turned in his grasp, managing a look of disapproval despite my body's best efforts. "What's this?" My voice was just a touch rougher than usual, which I hoped he didn't notice.
He grinned, his gaze scanning my face down to my chest and back. "Me taking you up on that offer babydoll, unless you were just trying to play me after all."
I sighed, giving him a sympathetic look. "Ah, you're smart enough to know the answer to that, aren't you?" He chuckled, leaning in closer. My will faltered for just a moment as I found myself doing the same, before I remembered my situation. I'm not fucking doing this. I swiftly pushed away from him, pulling myself out of his embrace. It happened so suddenly he didn't have time to resist. "Gotta give some to get some, baby."
I left him high and dry in the bedroom, not sparing a look back as I strode from the room. I considered returning to my earlier seat, but knew I wouldn't be able to stay there for longer than a couple of minutes. I caught sight of Damien with a book in his hand. He doesn't seem all that dangerous, even before. And it's either him or Callum anyway.
Deciding he was the lesser of three evils, I moved to take the seat next to him. As I was passing by Callum, I heard an audible slap before the flight attendant he'd been 'courting' earlier stood up and left. Ouch. He stood up to go after her. "C'mon, I told you I wouldn't do that again. Why would I b-" His voice disappeared as he did around the curtain to the galley, deciding to keep whatever argument that was, private. Fine by me, I've got enough bullshit to think about without all that noise.
He didn't look up as I settled into the seat beside him. "You lost?"
I shrugged. "I got bored."
"Don't know why you're telling me this."
"You asked." He looked over with a brow raised. "Kind of." He seemed to be sizing me up. I refused to break eye contact. "So I'll be sitting here for the rest of the trip, cool? "
"Do whatever you want." I couldn't help but smile as he said that like what we were having was the most natural conversation in the world. I like him already.
"Thanks." I pulled the cover of the book towards me. "What are you reading?"
"You just looked at the cover." He responded dismissively, seeming truly engrossed in the book in his hands.
"This a favourite?"
"One of them."
"Can I read it with you?"
He gave me an amused look, my favourite one of his expressions thus far. "Are you really asking?"
I mirrored his look. "Guess not." I could have sworn his lips tugged up into a small smile for a millisecond before he got a handle on his expression.
