A (somewhat of a-) Writer's Poem

He & She (Part 5)

What was that all about?
The guy asked his girlfriend. "Why did you laugh? What's so funny?"

She smiled.
"The guy who doesn't have the ability to pay for our dates, finally does- but he's with another girl."

Why did she have to be so rude?
The girl asked. "I don't like her."

He frowned.
"Don't judge her. She's not like that when we're together. The guy she's with isn't taking care of her."

And who do you think will take care of her well?
The girl asked, but she wished she hadn't because he answered with- "Me."
