"It's a strong passion, Mom. I was lucky to be part of it when Dad was younger and more daring. Ruthless and didn't think too much into things." I remember when he was like that and at times I thought it was turn on that he was ruthless but at the same time, potentially losing him was terrifying. "Did Uncle Arlie mention anything about them down there or Dad?"

"He didn't say much to me. Just mentioned they were gonna be there longer than expected and things are managed. He then asked how everything was up here and I didn't know much outside the fact that everyone seemed fine." Apparently I was far from. "How was Ivanna?"

"That's interesting... Ivanna was fine for the most part. Kept her in the lab at first but then she went up top with the twins and Natalia. She walked out of there fine so I did my part and looked out for her." He said with a shrug of his shoulders and I could tell in his face that something was bothering him. His eyes weren't looking back at me like normal, instead they were focused on the table in front of him.

"What's the matter with you? You got your glorious victory, saved IRG from completely crumbling and best of all you've proved that there's still something to fear that lies in IRG." I said which got him to crack a small smirk like I knew would. The easiest way to get a smile is to gas him up, for an Aries he acts more like a Leo in the aspect that he sees himself as a kind of King and that makes me laugh from time to time.

"I've always been something to fear, just 'cause I was gone for some time shouldn't have changed anything. I was just being a terror somewhere else but Mom I gotta tell you something." Oh no, the way he said that last part... please don't be something that forever changes the rest of your life. I motioned for him to go on as I took my seat down at the table with him, patiently waiting for him to tell. "Part of what was going on were these notes some of us were getting." He began. "Each note was addressed to Breezy, LJ, Ivanna and I and they each depicted something within the note being our downfall. I was the only one who got a second note and it pretty much said Dad was dead and IRG was up for grabs- to loosely sum it up."

"Dad's dead?"

"That's what that note claims but we know Dad well enough, I don't believe shit happened to him. He's too good, too cautious and he had Uncle Varo and Arlie with him." He continued to say. "Mom you don't believe he's dead do you? Now that I told you one of those notes."

"Of course I don't want to believe that but now you have me scared for his sake." Oh God, please no- Arlie would have said something on the phone... right? Wouldn't he? I'm sure he would have but then again- here I go questioning myself. "I'm going to Houston." I said as my final decision, getting up from the table, I needed to pack a few things and I'm getting on the first flight out there. "Now I feel like there's something going on and no one wants to tell me- obviously besides you."

"You don't even know where they are-"

"I'll gladly find out, I don't care. Help me out by keeping an eye on LJ while I'm gone?" I asked.

"Yeah I'll watch him but you gotta promise me you'll call me soon as you find out what's going on at that end of all this, deal?" He said holding out his hand for me to shake and I shook it. "And you get a new damn car-"

"Leave my car alone, Trey. If it works just fine, there's no need for me to get a new one." I shot back at him and he gave a shake of his head with a small laugh. "I'm gonna head upstairs, can you look up flights for me? Sooner the better." Giving a nod, I handed him my phone and let him do the rest while I-

"I'm not gonna find nasty shit on your phone am I?" He asked getting me to stop at the foot of the stairs. "Not that I was gonna search through but in general."

"Stay out of Dad and I's thread as well as my pictures and the phone is clean-"

"Noted." Continuing up to my room, I reached into the closet and pulled out my suitcase. One would be more than enough along with the carry on. Setting the both of them on the bed and going through my dresser picking out various items of clothing and throwing them in.
