The water was rising so high. There's no where to go the windows and doors are blocked off. She was banging on the proof in hopes she found a weak spot in the ceiling to go to the second floor. Finally, she punched her bloody hand to the ceiling and succeeded in getting to the second floor. She pulled herself up above the hole she had torn out. She was safe... for now. She looks out the window with the sun shining throw. In the room she was in had a bed. She leaned over to see a her sister bloody, lifeless, and blank. The girl screamed and as the water roses above her head she closed her eyes, ready for death.
"Vicky! Vicky!" Vicky awoke to her mother yelling. "Get up its time for school!" Vicky rubs her eyes and looks at the time at her phone. 6:54am. She groaned and through the cover off of her. She new that her day was not going to be a good day because of the dream she had.
She arrived at school and immediately was bombarded by her best friend, Elizabeth, or as some call her Lizzy. "Hey, was so sad?" she sad with and exaggerated frown. " We have a game today and its our first competition," she continued now smiling brighter than my future. "I had another dream about my sister," Vicky replied, holding up the barricade of tears she been holding for 3 years. Lizzy immediately wiped the smile she previously had off her face. "Well it might be a sign," Lizzy said afraid of how Vicky would react. "Excuse me?" "I mean you haven't visited her ever sense well..." the barricade was starting to break. " I think you should. I'll go with you if you dont want to alone." "No, if I do it, i'm going alone." Lizzy looked down and nodded as if she new Vicky needed to do this alone. RING. "That's the bell, i'll see you next period. Bye Vic!" "Bye, Liz." She smiled a fake smile and walked to her class. By the end of the day she still hadn't forgotten about her dream. Vicky decided that she was going to go see her sister. She drove a long ways but finally arrived where her sister was.
"I'm sorry," Vicky said in tears. "I should've done more." Vicky was kneeling in front of a stone that read "Carla Malaine. A beloved Daughter and Sister. 2006-2017." More sobs came flooding from Vicky's eyes. "That morning I should have gone to you as soon as I saw that you weren't up. Maybe if I did that it could have saved your life, but I didn't... I'm so sorry. That's not even the worst part. The worst part is that I was the one to find you...in your bed...gone." She leaned over the stone and cried harder than ever, feeling that her throat was going to burst. " I love you." she whispered into the stone. Vicky herd a rustle behind her and when she turned around she couldn't believe her eyes. "Carla?"
