I have known Robbie for about two years or so and he's one of the coolest and most caring guys I have ever known. I have gotten to know Robbie really well I consider him a good friend maybe even a best friend in some way. I have gone to every concert I can for the past two years or so and every time he would come up to me and my mom. He would say hi and we would talk. His heart is in performing and pleasing his fans with his music. Mark your calendars because on April 16th it Robbie Rosen Day in Merrick, New York. Now let's get into the interview.

Robbie Rosen: I began humming melodies before I could even say my first words! It has always been my greatest passion.

CRB: Who inspired you to be a singer and how big of an impact did they have on you?

RR: My mom was a professional singer for many years. She continues to coach me to this day, and has had such a tremendous impact on me and my career.

CRB: How would you describe your American idol journey?

RR: In one word: incredible. Best thing that's ever happened to me, musically. So thankful for everything the show did for me!

RR: Connecting with my fans and making sure the audience feels every word you sing. It's the most important part of being a performer.

RR: It's so humbling. They have tons of viewers/followers, and the fact that they chose to feature me was such a blessing.

CRB: If you could do a duet with anyone who would it be and why?

RR: I would love to do a duet with Tori Kelly. She's an 'Idol' alum, and has such a beautiful, soulful voice. I also wouldn't mind a male-male duet with Ed Sheeran – that would be pretty awesome.

CRB: How would you describe your music style?

RR: I would call it mainstream pop, with an infusion of soul.

CRB: What's the best part of performing live?
