July 9, 2017:
*Ding* I looked down at my phone. There was a notification from Snapchat.
Cam added you as a friend.
"Who the hell is that?" I said out loud to no one. I opened it up and added him back. Just cause I don't know him doesn't mean I can't make new friends. I texted him.
Me- Hey! Who is this. I saw you added me.
Cam- Hey, my name is Cam. Just saw you on the quick add and you seemed nice. Just trying to make some new friends.
Me- Well Cam, nice to meet you. I'm Delaney.
I had a feeling that I was going to like this boy. I didn't have many friends so it was nice to have someone to talk to every now and then.
We talked for what felt like forever, even if it was only a few hours. He was super nice. He listened to what I had to say and I listened to him. We found out we liked some of the same things. It was around 9:30 when he asked for a picture of me. I flipped my camera around so it was pointed towards my face. It was weird, I never send pictures of my face to anyone. Was It
possible that I was falling in love with this random boy? I picked a random filter that I liked and took the picture. I hated the way my face looked. He'll probably think I'm an idiot and don't look good. I decided to send the picture anyways. He opened it almost immediately. I was nervous of what he thought of me. I think I really liked this boy.
