The Room.

Waking Up

"What the fuck" said matt while he was grabbing his head.
"How the fuck did I end up here and who the fuck are you?" He said while laying against a wall.
   "My name is..." He grabbed his head due to a sharp pain in his ear. "Its Alex"
Silence began to fill the room before Alex tried to stand up and walk. He moved forward about two feet before falling face first onto a dead body.
  "Fucking hell." He said before scooting back and noticing they were both chained to a wall.
  "How do we get out of here!" Matt said before grabbing a nearby bag and slamming it against the ground causing a tape and a tape player to fall out. Matt grabbed the tape and slid it into the tape player, he then clicked play.
   The radio had a dark, disturbing voice echo through the room.
  "I see you have found the first step to getting out of this room, but listen to this very carefully... Only one of you will survive, you both have abused your life and treated it like it was a joke! But now, both of you probably want to live." The tape ended. Alex seemed to notice another bag near him and reached for it, grabbing it. He pulled out another tape and motioned for Matt to throw the player.
   "No, throw me the tape dammit! If I throw this, it could break and then how are we getting out of here?" Alex sighed and then threw the tape to Matt, who slid it into the player.
   "Life isn't supposed to be fair, but it is supposed to be a gift... One that you two have abused, you both have something in common, and you both also have to find a way out... You have 24 hours to kill the other person, or someone you care about is gone."
Matt leaned against a wall.
  "This can't be happening to me right now!" The room began to get silent before Alex started making noise
   "What are you looking for? There is no trying to escape apparently we have to kill each other"
   "Then what's this key for?" Alex said as he pulled out a key hidden in a clogged sink.
