Why Him?

Chapter 1- My Birthday Bash

(Rose's POV)
It's been years since I have entered this town, I lived here once and that was with my mother and father but that was before my father was taken away from me. My dad was my everything I couldn't believe it but when I was told that he was gone I broke down I cried. My mother told me that it was my fault and that if she wouldn't have had me he would still be here because I caused so much heart ache and now he is gone leaving me and mother moving back into the house that we all use to live in when I was younger. My mother has a new boyfriend but I'm not sure what he is like she has been dating him for 2 years and never let me meet him because all her other boyfriend have left her once they found out she had daughter but she told me that he has a son, but refuses to tell me there names or even to give me his last name. I literally have 2 years of school left and all I wanna do is be done so I can go to college and be away from her.
I wake up the next morning and hear my mom pounding on my door.
"Rose wake the fuck up, it's time for you to leave the house and go to school and don't forget to grab groceries after school or you won't be eating at all" my mother said as she walked away.
I got up and Walked over to my dresser and pulled out a bullet for my valentine shirt and a pair of ripped skinny jeans. I put my converse on and applied some make up then I walk down stairs and I heard a car honk and I walked out side and seen that it was my friend Sky. I get in her jeep and we drive to school.
"So girl it's almost your birthday" Sky says
"Yeah and your point" I said laughing
"We are going to party at the beach. And then your coming to my house" Sky said
I nodded and then we arrived at the school and we both get out and we walk into the school and as I walk through the door I bump into someone.
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry"I said looking at who I just bumped into.
"Yeah you better be sorry loser. Now I gotta burn my jacket since you touched me. And you better be sorry whore!" Said the voice that belonged to no one other then Ryder Pearl.
I walk away not saying anything, thinking of how me and him use to be so close and how we were best friend but him and his family moved away for a year and he comes back hating me and and I never found out why. And the only shity thing about it, is we live next to each other.
I walk down the halls and I get to my locker and I grab my books and I head to Sky's locker and I see out other friend Cassie, I have know Cassie since I was 2. My mom and her mom were best friend and we just connected.
"So I heard you bumped into Ryder." Cassie says
"Yup and I'm supposedly a whore. Who knew?" I said laughing as we all start walking to our first period class.
When I walk in I go and take my normal seat in the back of the room and I see an empty seat so I tap it for Sky to sit next to me but right before sky could Ryder sits down.
"Sorry whore this is now my seat" he said
I ignored him and went on paying arrival to the history lesson. Class could not go any faster.
"Well class I hope you like the seats you are sitting in because these will be the seats you sit in for the whole year" the teacher said then the bell rang.

The school day went by really fast and Cassie and Sky and I go over to Sky's house since I don't let them come to mine.
When we get to Sky's house I walk in and I see her brother Mark sitting on the couch and I walk over and sit beside him and I lay my head on his shoulder; me and mark have never dated and we do not like each other in anyway we are just best friends.
"Hey Rose how are you" Mark asked as the other two run into the kitchen to get snacks.
"I'm good just wishing summer was here already" I said
"Why having problems at school again? Let me guess it has to do with Ryder Pearl?" Mark said as I nod.
Sky and Cassie finally come back and we all head up stairs and we eat snacks and we get ready for the party.
I put on a black silky dress that is strapless, that comes to mid thigh and I put on a paid of black heels and I reapply makeup and I put on red lipstick.Sky puts on a red dress that has straps and it comes to her knees and she puts her red heels on and doesn't do make up much. And then Cassie puts on a blue dress that is mid thigh and blue heels and does her hair is curls. Then we all back a bikini and we all head down stairs and into Sky's Jeep and we head off to the beach. When we get there, there isn't many people as we look around we start playing music and dancing around and I hear a voice that I could recognized from anywhere.
"Hey baby wanna party with us? Wait I know you, your Rose the Whore" Ryder said as he walks towards us. "But you look so different I don't think your the whore I think your miss sexy" he said winking at me.
I walk away and I head over to the Jeep and grab a beer out of it and I chug it. I'm pretty sure I have chugged 24 by the end of the night and I was truly feeling it. But I danced all night, not knowing who any of the people were. Everyone's faces were a blur so I just kept dancing and grinding. After a while I feel a pair of hands on my hips and I'm grinding on someone and then the next thing I know everything goes black.
