"Hey Max," Nikki spoke as she walked over to Max. They were both hiking in the woods because David sent them to get twigs as swords.
"What?" Max sighed. "What is it?" Nikki immediately kissed Max on the cheek after he talked. "What the fuck was that for?!"
"Do I need a reason to kiss you?" Nikki chuckled.
"Uh, yes!!" Max replied.
"I'm gonna get real with ya," Nikki sighed. "Remember when we had to take care of the platypus egg that ended up getting eaten by the momma platypus?"
"Yes."
"Well, at that time I felt like we were a married couple taking care of a child."
"What are you saying?"
"I... started to like you. I mean, like-like you."
Max blushed. "Wow. I don't know how to react to this."
"Maybe a kiss on the cheek."
Max thought about it a little bit. "Ok, as long as you keep it on the down low." Max then kissed Nikki on the cheek.
"Thanks," Nikki smiled.
"It was nothing," Max sighed.
