It is monday morning, as usual Leondre gets up at seven in the morning, and preparing himself to go to school.  After finishing the breakfast that his mother has made for him, he bids goodbye to his mother and storm out immediately. For Leondre, there's not much thing to be excited for school, as it's one of many hell's for him. As he passes the school gate, Charlie is there, talking with his friends not far away, Leondre's mood suddenly changes, he seriously doesn't want to start a day by seeing Charlie the first thing.

Leondre and Charlie are like heaven and hell, they both hate each other, though Leondre doesn't really know why for himself, but maybe Charlie has a great reason. Fighting becomes their hobby, always fight everyday. Charlie scowls at him as Leondre rolls his eyes and turns away after sticking his tounge out towards him. Charlie is two years older, and thank to all the gods they don't have any same classes, that's the only thing Leo can really enjoy in his life. Leondre rarely gets friends because he's the only who is willing to fight back Charlie and others are afraid that Charlie will target them if they hang out with Leo, as that's the exact thing Charlie always did. Shoo away Leo's friends.

Chelly, Benjamin and Jersly are the only friends he has got, who are also strong enough to fight back Charlie. For Leo, his three friends are everything, his life, the light he always gets whenever he falls in the dark pit, the reason he doesn't drop out of school and the only reason he has the strength to fight back Charlie. Chelly is a girl, both Benjamin and Jersly are gay, the whole school know about that, but no one dares say anything as there's Chelly who'd glare diggers to whoever dare to open their mouth.

As mostly, Leo hangs out with Benjamjn and Jersly, there's a misunderstand that Leo is also gay, which he's not, clearly as far as he knows he's straight. He's sure about his sexuality as he has only eyes for one girl and only, who is two years older than him. Leondre uses every sweet words to describe the girl, how her smooth hair flow down the small of her back, how her curved waist tightly wrapped around the dress she wears, how her hips swing everytime she walks as if she's walking in some fashion show.

But, unfortunately, she's dating Son of a Hell Charlie Lenehan and they seem to be in a rooted relationship. Maybe that's the reason he really hates Charlie, because the boy has everything he doesn't have. Charlie has a handsome face, ocean blue eyes, blonde hair that looks so soft everytime he runs his hands through them, a god-like-structure, his body physical screams "manyly" and he's rich. He's strong.

Leondre looks out the window as he frowns deeply. Did he just admire Charlie Bitch Lenehan? Fuck.

On his walk back home, Leondre keeps his eyes fixed on the road, as his mind wanders to somewhere far away. He has idolized Charlie, does that means he used to check out Charlie? When he thinks of a description for his crush and Charlie, there's always more details he knows about Charlie and that really is bothering him.

"Uff." Leondre lets out a huff when he bumps into someone.

"Better watch where you going, little imp." A familiar voice says from above. Leondre lookd up to see Charlie staring right back at him.

"Seriously, not this time." Leondre sighs under his breath, but seems like Charlie hears it.

"Do you think I want to see you, too? Fuck off, little fag." Charlie grits out as he shoves the smaller boy a little.

Leondre looks straight at Charlie, loads of thought are running inside his mind and a part of him wants to yell out, but the other doesn't agree and tell him to go away. But seems like the former won.

"Faggot? What is not so good about being gay, huh?," Leo scoffs as he glares up at Charlie, "It's all because of someone like you. I got less friends because of you and your stupid strength, if only you stop bothering me maybe I can live more normal life. Someone like you won't understand how hard it is for me to be called as gay when I'm not. You'll never undersatnd my life, not at all, just because they are my friends doesn't mean I'm gay too, it's all just because of you. And, what is so wrong for being gay? They are human too, see, they have blood, flesh and bones, brains and they breathe too, what do you gain from hating gay? Homosexuality is okay.

"And also, do listen here mister, unless you get through what they did you wouldn't understand, even if they're straight or not what's the problem, you have no say in it, that's their own choice and they chose what they want. And what the point of hating me, hitting me and calling me with all these dirty names, what is your problem? From my experience you bullying me is nothing, I've been through more painful than this. The pain that you gave me is nothing to compare from my old school, but I beg you please stop picking a fight with me and calling me faggot, I hope you keep a distance from me!" Tears threatens to fall so Leo turns around with a huff and runs towards his house, it's all Charlie's fault.

"Mom, I'm home!" Leo shouts as he drops his bag on the hallway. His mother and sister are sitting in the livingroom and his mother look so stress. Leondre can feel something's wrong.

"'Sup mum." Leo asks as he furrows his brows.

"Come here, baby." She waves him to sits beside her, which he does without any word.

"I have something to tell you."

"Hmm? Go on."

She takes a deep breath,  "Do you remember your grandfather's friend that I've mentioned about?"

Leondre ponders for a moment before he answers, "Yeah. The one who died three years before I born? My father's father?"

"Yes. That one." His mother nods his head, "Well, he has got this friend, that he's really close with, and they made a promise for their frist grandchildren to get married so that their friendship would bloom till today's."

"The fuck, mom! What are you talking about? Nonsense." Leo grimace at the thought of getting married to someone he doesn't even know, "Tell me you're joking with me."

"No, Leo baby, this is not a joke. It's true. I know this sounds crazy, but it's their promise..."

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
