A boy so quiet,
cries a bucket.
No friends, no family,
I felt pity.
The sorrow in his eyes,
tell me how much he cries.
Never once did he smile,
To see that, I would walk a mile.
His name; such a secret,
His dad, held a cigarette.
His mom, a woman who left,
but a necklace of hers he kept.
One day I came to see him,
so sad like it seem.
He told me about the world,
all about the night's fold.
His words surprised me,
He said people don't see
What love makes us believe
Stupid promises we couldn't give
Fairy tales and happy ending
But people only end up leaving.
