The crisp night air sent chills down her spine; the wind that tossed the leaves about not helping in the slightest. On a rough gravel path that leads through a forest stood three figures, each wearing a navy blue vest with letters spelling out FBI in white font on the back. Each had their gun drawn from its holster, aimed at the ready.
Their footsteps seemed earsplitting on the gravel as they crept through the eerily silent forest. One hybrid seemed to be more on edge than the others, leaning forward with cream ears perked in anticipation. If anything made a sound she would probably have bolted right then and there.
Her plum coloured hair seemed to be messily thrown in a ponytail, stands hanging loose. She looked as though she hadn't been sleeping well- which was probably the case from the dark rings that were forming under her eyes. Those aspects did not calm her hostile aura though. Her eyes were squinted slightly, glaring through her rounded glassed with building hatred. Her breath came out in short, hollow bursts, sending clouds of steam wafting into the air. Her blood seemed to pound in her ears with building up anticipation and adrenaline. Every fibre of her being pulled her forward, yelling, screaming at her that this was her chance.
She saw the signal she had been waiting for- a flash in the distance down the winding pathway. Without hesitation she set forward, her colleges following close behind.
They approached what seemed to be an abandoned manufacturing facility, the grey walls slowly chipping and caving in some areas while vines grew along others; the windows were shattered and covered in grime while some were boarded up. yellowish brown grime marked the walls that weren't covered in adolescent graffiti. The roof had caved in some places long ago.
The purple haired girl hurriedly made her way up the steps of the facility and into the main hall, an all too familiar sight meeting the agent's eyes.
At the end of the hall stood a figure, their sunken brown eyes, staring directly at her. Their greasy charcoal coloured hair was combed back into a small rattail that went along with the stubble forming along their jaw. A crooked smile slipped onto his face as he saw her face twist with loathing and hostility. The figure- a dishevelled looking man- unfolded their knobbly hands and slowly started clapping. The Kitsune let out a disgusted hiss as the man took a step forward. "Stay where you are, don't move!" one of her companions snapped, though the command seemed to fall onto deaf ears.
"Well done my dear-" He had been cut off.
"I said don't move! We will not hesitate to shoot!"
"Oh yes, I know," A malicious glint flickering into his eyes. "But you can't," He seemed to direct the statement to the kitsune. "You've been waiting for this day for a long time, haven't you Corbeau? After all, you've been holding a grudge for... Hmm, how long was it? sixteen years?" He hummed, stopping about a yard away from the three agents.
"Eighteen." Corbeau croaked, starting to tremble with fury. "It has been eighteen years."
"Ah yes. Eighteen long, horrid years of not knowing," He chuckled. "Your team doesn't know about October the third, do they? Alyssa, Simon? Do you know?" The two behind Corbeau glanced at each other, pure confusion on their features.
"Well my, my!" He hissed, Hunching over slightly. "I guess we better tell them!" He let out a crazed chuckle.

"Now!
Where do we begin?"
