I remember in 4th grade, I had these 2 kids in my class that would day dream throughout the who'll school day of being in a war game or something. It was funny to think of it, but lots of kids were fine with it. I on the other hand had arm hair that I was born with, an was given the name "monkey". :/ Lot's of kids made fun of me calling me a ton of names.
Making me feel alone I ended up joining a rough crowd. It was a group 4 where we were all different, but together due to our differences. Robert was the leader he was made fun of for being a white Mexican. Jose was there, because he was friends with Robert an people didn't like him for that. Gabriel was feared, because he was the only african american at our school. An well me you know me I was hairy. Lot's of kids would try to bully us to the point where it got physical. An our group we were tough as nails and fought back if we had too. I'm not going to say we didn't get in trouble, but we did always sat in detention an were always interrogated by cps.
I guess we were seen as troubled, but really we were just trying to take a stand. The school later on started to understand us an in 5th grade we wouldn't get in trouble for our actions as long as it was justifiable. This group ended up dying in middle school an we were slowly accepted in our classroom environments.
