                                                             Guide To Misko's Pureblooded Races

                                                                         Elves:

Elves are some of the newest races to appear in Misko. Born of fae and early men, elves are neither hybrid or purebloods. They are not immortal, but they live much longer than the average human. An elf can live from 800 - 900 years, although a few are rumored to reach 1000. Elves are much more welcoming to refugee hybrids, and regard them as equals. Elves look down on those who treat hybrids with discrimination as a result of their mixed bloodlines. 

                                                                      Dwarves:

Dwarves are one of the oldest races of Misko. They dwell in mountains and caves alongside giants and dragons. Dwarves mostly keep to themselves, but many wander the world searching for work as bodyguards for nobles or caravans. Dwarves can live to be about 500 years old, and often spend their entire lives guarding the same family for generations. 

                                                                        Giants:

Giants don't really know where they come from. Although they are not the most intelligent of creatures, they make amazing soldiers and miners. They mainly keep to themselves save for interacting with dwarves and dragons in order to make alliances or to sell them their gold and silver. Giants typically live to be 200 years old due to fighting in wars killing many giants off before they are past their prime.

                                                                       Fae:

Fae are the oldest living being in Misko. They are the wisest among the wise, as they are immortal and see a great deal of things in their everlasting lifetime. The Fae are believed to be the children of nature, which they watch over diligently. Fae keep to themselves and not much is known about them. It is rumored that Fae have powers, and they neither encourage these rumors or dispel them. 

                                                                     Men:

Men are the fastest growing  race in Misko. They don't live very long, only 70 - 80 years. They are steadfastly taking hold of their world, and they believe that hybrids are demons and monsters. Although they have allied themselves with Elves in the past, their mistreatment of hybrids has caused a rift between the two races which could prove deadly. Men particularly dislike hybrids that are half-human, as many refuse to believe that their race could produce such creatures. 

                                                                    Dragons:

Dragons are a very old race. They have seen almost as much as Fae have. They are  immortal by their own standards, and typically live 1000 - 2000 years, that is if they are not killed in battles with men. Dragons are looked upon as greedy, evil creatures. However, many dragons allied themselves with men and elves during the Dragon Wars. They normally live in huge caverns that giants have dug out. They live in these for their entire lives, only leaving to hunt or to find a mate, which sometimes happen to be humans, which they shapeshift into.
