I've got a flute. Sure, it may not seem like a weapon of mass destruction, but with a high E flat, it might as well be. And the flutist playing it slowly self-destructs after the course of years playing it. I hope my ears are still good. I've only been playing the flute for 2 years.
As my band teacher says:
"The flutes are armed with a weapon of mass destruction - A HIGH E FLAT.
I advise the other sections to cover your ears."
And then the whole rest of the band ducks and covers.
Oh, and as a soprano, I advise you to repeat this same procedure, since if the sopranos have a high E flat :
