The Bonds Between Us

Prologue

On a planet not too far from Earth, several different species lived in harmony. Then, one species, the Verothans, started to try and rid their planet of several other species that they deemed less worthy of their land and resources. Led by a woman named Rachel, they began a war that has lasted many years, but was put on pause by a temporary ceasefire. Rachel has now turned her attentions to Earth, whose nuclear power could turn the tides of the war in her favor. She turns to the "rulers" of Earth, hoping to exchange her services in defeating their enemies for their assistance in defeating hers.

For many years, Earth has been ruled by the Virtues, a group of seven people who believe themselves to be the best of the world, and have controlled the entire Earth. However, they have been fighting an unknown band of revolutionaries, who call themselves The Seven Deadly Sins. For eight years, this group has worked to exploit The Virtues for what they really are, and have so far been successful, but their identities have never been discovered. The Virtues, having grown suspicious of their leader's own daughter, Reggie Smith, have teamed up with another planet to capture her and get information about the Sins out of her. And so our story begins on a remote island on Earth, inside a heavily guarded building.
